Season ticket holders meet the Knicks night last night...easily the worst I've been to in the last 4 years or so that they've done this. Couldn't take pictures with them, couldn't really talk with them, they were all miserable and had only been signing for like 15 mins by the time I saw them...plus Danilo was supposed to be there and wasn't. FU Knicks.

First AllStar since Spree/Houston. Knicks pretty well represented this weekend with Danilo x2, Nate, and now Lee. Too bad the team is falling apart :/

As talks stood on Monday, the price of dumping the burdensome contract of Jeffries – who is owed $6.9 million next season – comes with the Knicks and Rockets exchanging 2011 first-round picks and the Knicks’ 2012 first-round choice going to Houston. isnt there a rule where you cant trade future 1st rounders if you already owe a 1st rounder for the upcoming draft?? i mean since NY owes utah their 1st rounder it means that they cant deal any more 1st rounders?

I don't love trading first-round picks ever, but I think there is a large potential upside to this deal.

My understanding is that we would be about as far under the cap as anyone who has a real chance of going after Lebron or Wade. On the other hand, if no one wants to sign with us, then we're screwed.

I don't think McGrady's performance really matters in the greater scheme of things.

Not at the expense of mortgaging our future. We're probably not going to get Lebron/Bosh/Wade anyway, and rebuilding through the draft would be our only option at the point.
