Supposedly, Manningham didn't get on the field because he had trouble understanding the playbook.

We cut Tyree... its obvious since we still kept lol7recievers but I hope we keep him on the practice squad or something for karma purposes

we also cut woodson and bomar... so who is our 3rd QB?

Whichever one of those is put on the practice squad I'm guessing.

You LOL them for keeping 7 receivers for a week, until Boley comes back, but you don't know that Tyree is not eligible for the practice squad?

Hope he understands all the changes in the audibles since the Skins picked up Andre Woodson.

The best part about that picture is Sanders just standing there watching the play. All the Pats fans saying that was a lucky play should see this picture.

what? it's a picture, of course he is 'standing there'. i can't believe rodney harrison just had one foot off the ground for the whole play. if you watch the play, sanders is in motion the whole time the ball's in the air, supporting harrison in case somehow tyree catches the ball and gets free.

I think he should have tried to knock the **** out of Tyree and not assume Tyree "might" get free. There was an article in SI about how the Pats played Tyree wrong on that play and the biggest arguement was no one helped Harrison tacke Tyree.

I just trolled the Eagles thread. Watch these guys come over and bitch!

"Congrats on being the black sheep of the NFC East! Hey can you do us a favor? If you actually happen to get to the SB this year, try to actually f'ing win it, K? Making sure your QB doesn't throw up on the possible game winning drive would be a start. Another thing, considering the East has won 11 SB out of 19 it's been in ain't bad considering you slackers account for 2 of those 7 losses. Go Eagles!!!!"

An injury on the opening kickoff. And then he fumbles a snap. And then he almost gets intercepted as he stares down a receiver. Come on. You've got to be kidding.

Eli looked very good on that first drive.

We should have won by a lot more points, but I have a lot of optimism about this team after today's game.

There won't be many teams who can stop our run like the Redskins did. They have a very good defense.

Defense looked great and will be better when we get some guys back (Ross/Boley namely).

And Mario! Huge X factor for us this season if he can be a player.

So happy to have the NFL back

He made a couple bad decisions but as we've said before you just have to live with that if everything else is good. Outside of those 2 bad throws or whatever he was great.

obviously not perfect - hixon getting shut down is concerning. i wasn't thrilled with the pass rush - giants only did get 2 legit sacks, one of them being the sack fumble. i loved the line play overall - portis only had 62 yards, 30 of which were torn off on that first run.

nicks getting hurt sucks obv

good first game. love to see tuck and osi both getting sacks. can't wait to get our olbs back and ross. our D will be elite.

definitely need to run the ball better. and honestly, im tired of hixon already and wanna just play manningham. pretty nice to see a receiver do something with the ball after the catch for a change.
