Kick out of bounds, low line drive right down the middle to one of the best punt returners in football, what's the difference?

Enough of the really obvious. How about some more of the plain obvious.

How many weeks has Coughlin been screaming about taking care of the ball? And yet here we are with 3 games left in the year and Wunderlich Manningham still carries the ball like a loaf of bread ... in the wrong hand?

How many times was the offense at 4th and about a yard today around mid field or deeper? Could we maybe once keep the offense on the field and at least try to draw them offsides instead of running Dodge right out there? I mean it's not like the Eagles didn't hop offsides on a 3rd and short in the game, and it's not like they have an aggressive defense, so maybe this would work? Especially with 2 and a half left in the game and the Eagles desperately needing the ball back?

I'm tired of the same mistakes week after week. I'm tired of Gilbride throwing the ball when they should be trying to run the clock. I'm tired of the special teams sucking every goddmaned week. Seriously, this special teams coach didn't tell the players to be aware of the possibility of an onsides kick?

I like Coughlin and don't blame him, but at some point this has to come home to roost with him.

"Tom Coughlin slammed his oversized chart to the ground, threw off his headset, and surrendered to the same vile rage that was consuming his entire fan base. Millions of men, women and children dressed in their Simms and LT and Eli jerseys were throwing things in their living rooms, cursing an impossibly cruel twist of fate, and screaming at the high-def image of Coughlin while the coach was screaming at the distraught punter before him."

"Thirty-two years from now, when this New Meadowlands Stadium is facing its own wrecking ball, Eagles 38, Giants 31 will surely be remembered as the most shocking regular-season defeat this ballpark has ever staged."
