It's not a difference in perception of his personality or anything subtle, it's simply "do you know anything about the 'TB12 Method'?" It is objectively ridiculous and filled with nonsense.

A lot of athletes (and people in general) do these things though and believe that they are doing positive things for them. They just don't talk about them much. Like athletes doing that cupping thing. Pushing plyometrics and nutrition stuff is way different than say pushing a bunch of harmful neurological boosting pills or hydroxycut type garbage.
that play by Butler was insane and while it's understandable that people discuss the playcall, I'd have been more interested in a discussion where the INT ranks in all time most memorable SB plays. Most memorable OAT by a defender perhaps? Ive only watched since 2013 so idk.
Off the top of my head, I gotta go with this one.
Heh, Al Michaels gets all the good ones!
If you told me Malcolm's was bigger because it came in the last minute, that's a fair point. But this one flipped the game just as much. Cards were a big dog in that game, were giving the Steelers all they wanted, and were about to take the lead (or at worst tie the game) just before halftime. And it was crucial to the win, as PIT won by four, needing a last-minute TD to escape with the win.
Heard a guy on the radio say of all the Patriots haters, "Michael Jordan won all the time, too--no one hated him!"
Yeah, that's true. But why? What's the difference?
Was it because MJ came before the Fake News Era? Because you can't convince me that SpyGate and DeflateGate weren't Fake News.
Or was it because Michael Jordan had a great smile? Could it be that simple? I hesitate to use "charisma", I can't think of a single great quote he ever gave.

The Harrison int didn't flip the game close to the Butler int, Harrisons was big but the Cards led late in the game after Fitz big catch and run. Butlers was a game clinching int at the goal line with like 1 minute left.

The Celtics were hated and regularly accused of cheating back in their period of dominance. The cheating accusations were really prevalent in the Bird era.
I'm finding that I care about this super bowl less than previous games. Probably partly super bowl fatigue, but also think it's due to caring less about Brady's legacy the more he just seems like a kooky ******* with a crazy snake oil salesman doctor
You’re not alone with this sentiment. Sure I root for the guy the same as I root for belichick, and I do think a lot of the cheating accusations are way overblown and mostly sour grapes, but I get the impression I wouldnt like either of them as people off the field
I woke up at 6 so figured eh what the **** and rode the highs and lows of watching the recaps for all 7 SBs. I totally forgot how nutty the first 3 wins were. I'm ready.
This one funnily enough seems like the first eagles super bowl. Been there, done that, not much to lose.
Was thinking the same thing. I even decided to miss a few minutes of that one driving home at halftime instead of putting up with trying to watch the game with people that kept walking in front of the TV and wouldn't shut the **** up about stupid commercials.
