I second "Roger that"!

I never thought we were drawing dead. I didn't like our chances, of course, but I never "gave up", as a few here were brave enought to admit.

I was at a large party with only three Pats fans, two of which were my gf and I. We had to listen to a LOT of ****-talk for the first three quarters. When we pulled within a TD+2, my buddy started mocking their Dirty Bird dancing, but I did not join in. "Not yet," I told him.

When we tied it, he came over for a high-five. I reluctantly gave him one, but kept my game-face on. "We haven't won anything yet," I reminded him.

Then, when we finally got there, I stood to fully celebrate, to finally do a little Dirty Bird of my own--but I was exhausted! I was numb. It was so unbelievable, it didn't seem real. How I wish I had watched this game with Pats fans, instead of a house-ful of haters.

I can't wait to fire up the DVR for a rewatch that I can ENJOY. Yesterday, I was THIS CLOSE to pulling a Wahlberg and leaving the party early (I don't blame him--getting routed is 1000x worse when YOU THE FAN are getting heckled during it, as I learned yesterday). I guess I can point to that, when folks doubt that I never gave up?

Oh, and I won the pool with a near-perfect prop sheet. Thanks for the $$$, haters!

my kids started whining about having to face their Patriot hater's friends on monday, I just told them there is still time (even tho i had barely a glimmer of hope left), and then it happened! So ****ing unbelievable!

I can't believe the nightmare scenario came true (Gronk out for season) and we still won the SB. a few years ago that wouldn't have happened (didn't happen). it helped of course we were so healthy elsewhere.

Simply "Roger That!" is clearly the best title.

I wouldnt say I lost faith during the game but in the first half I was just super angry. I thought we were getting outcoached at the time. Their defense played us pretty good. Then I started to think it would be a karma loss because Kraft is loyal to DJT. But I also always thought how crazy would that story be if we come back. Only the Julio catch in the 4th quarter was a bummer at the time but then they sacked Ryan again. Still unbelievable today.

I had basically given up, mostly anger had taken over. Right before the 3rd down sack and fumble I told my gf I was going to bed if they didn't get a stop... Then boom. What a crazy ****ing ride

I actually wasn't angry. if we lost I wanted it to be clear and not luckboxed like the Tyree catch and down 28-3 it couldn't be much more clear that we didn't deserve it. so I was sad for sure, but resigned to "can't win em all, not our day".

I won't lie - at 28-3, I moved quickly into the acceptance stage of grief.

Shame on me for doubting them.

Possible new thread titles:

- Can count our championships on one hand (but not JPPs)
- Finding something new to be pissed about
- FIIIIVVVEEE GOOOOLLLLDDDEEENNN RIIINNGGGSSS
- The team that chose to run it on the goal line to win the Super Bowl

I was bitter because 21-3 shoulda been 14-3/7 but knew it was manageable.

I figured 28-3 was the dagger because we squandered more momentu on a very critical stop/1st possession.

Saw a pic of Matt Patricia wearing one of the Roger bozo nose t-shirts but the twitter account is suspended. Not sure if I want it to be real or not, since Roger is such a thin skinned vindictive bitch.

Such a surreal game. A couple of times today i legit thought that it didnt actually happen. Hit the liquor hard at half so 2nd half is a haze and when i woke up this morning i didnt believe they won til i turned on the radio.

Also loved how today when asked about winning the superbowl Belichick said something like "We are 5 weeks behind in preparing for the 2017 season".

I'm a fan of this.
