New England Patriots: Knocking on Seven's Door (Now with Happy Endings) New England Patriots: Knocking on Seven's Door (Now with Happy Endings)

The Pats spend on WR, just not on unproven WRs early in the draft. With the exception of Edelman (who doesn't count since he was a QB in college), the rest on the list were essentially proven commodities with NFL track records.

The starting WRs are fine, depth could be better but Gibson blew out his knee, Tyms got hurt, and Dobson cant get healthy. Chris Harper has turned some heads supposedly. They also have the best TE in the league and a legit backup/red zone contributor this year as opposed to Hooman running around being dependably below average at everything. Corner is going to be a step down from last year, but Brown is good, Butler might be good too, and they still have McCourty at one safety and likely average play from the other position. Plus the pass rush might actually be legitimately good for the first time in years.

But remember, you are dealing with a moron who said the "cap is crap" and doesnt effect team construction when Revis left and wanted BB fired several times so, you know, proceed accordingly.

I didn't remember Hines Ward drop at 25:00. Smile away.

Between waiting for Judge Berman to rule and waiting for Salva's piping hot takes on the state of the Pats, I can hardly get anything done.

Hoomanawanawanawanawanawanui was well above-average at pass-catching for a left tackle IIRC.

No kidding. Pretty sure if they deflated the footballs stripping a first and fourth is more than enough penance. Not to "diehard" fan Salva though.

between Pats fans having to quit rooting for the Pats, and the Falcons fans having to quit rooting for the Falcons, and the Browns fans having to quit rooting for the Browns, the NFL has lost a lot of teams this offseason

In all honesty, if the Pats had some clandestine program in place to systematically deflate footballs post inspection it would bother me. Good thing it's completely obvious that they didn't.

I should have said this earlier, but despite a few differences in opinion on this issue, my vote has always been for maximum trolling of other team's fans, especially the Jets. Lot of team homers pissed off today, and **** them all.

Brady is starting this season and I am 100% there for him. Let's focus on a repeat over all this bs.

Bills, Jets and Phin fans all believe they have the personnel to win this year and that the Pats are gonna suck. No matter what, an AFCEast division fan is going to go home crying this year.

Good thing they didn't take your ******ed advice to fire BB or restructure the organization.

Also no one else here is worried about the AFC East.

It's official. Goodell not attending the season opener. First smart decision he's made in years.

Not either but who isn't tired of the smoke? I guess I spend too much time on other team message boards. Defending the Pats is endless.

I mean, I can't make a post somewhere else without the bs. It's exhausting.

I want to talk about what Bills, Jets and Phins fans think they can accomplish in the division this year.

There are going to be at least two pissed offed AFC EAST team fans and there is no reason for it it be us

When did I suggest firing BB?

And no one here is worried but all three teams have improved. As Patriot fans that matters. No one wants to discuss?

Mildly concerned about Miami. Maybe the Bills upset us once for their seasons Super Bowl. Lol Jets. That's about it.
