I think just about any Pats fan would take 4-2, especially if it included a win over Denver.

Looking forward to this Sunday, want to see how the defense holds up against this type of offense. Very confident that the Pats will score a bunch on the Bears D.

If they can split the next 6 it's good imo.

Ugh reports on Twitter Chandler Jones is out for a month. Terrible timing and noone to replace him.

He played 84 of 87 snaps on Thursday with no signs on injury and now is out for the month. It seems like the Pats have an abnormal amount of people that seemingly make it out of the game fine only to end up on the injury report the following week and missing time.

****. Not sure what else to say. Worst stretch for this injury too.

Gloom and doom on WEEI this morning. Predictions of 1-5, 0-6, 2-4 from everyone except one "I hope they go 3-3."

I love it. The negative attitude alone has me thinking this next stretch has 5-1 written all over it.

Lol thankfully I am not one of those fans, but I think 3-3 is most likely for this stretch. Obv focusing in on the Denver game, the Jones loss could loom large. I would love to see the Pats beat those jokers.

It would be nice to beat Denver in November...but I'd rather beat them in January. SD is winning games left and right--while Denver certainly looks like the best team in football right now, they're still no lock to win their division, which works to our advantage should we meet in January.

Lol. I don't predict anything close to that. Frankly I'm not concerned about Chandler being out, our pass rush is already nonexistent. I'm more worried about Revis and co. Stepping up against the upcoming freight train of good qbs.

My biggest concern is that we can't stop the run at all.

I think we are way behind Denver, and behind Indy, SD, and maybe even KC. They beat SD and whooped us at their home. And we have gotten worse since due to injuries.

In all seriousness, Mayo is a huge loss. We can be run all over. Not sure about these pickups, but we are basically at 2011 except in reverse: we need the secondary to make up for our anemic D-line.

Letting Tommy Kelly go is another classic BB head scratcher. Its biting him in the ass right now.

Lol Salva im just bustin balls.

History tells me this team plays their best toward the 2nd half of the season, so I',m still banking on them being better than anything we have seen so far. Im hoping Chandler is on the good side of 3-4 weeks and can be back for @Indy after the bye.

If they can somehow come out of the next 7 weeks and somehow control their destiny for a bye I think that is a massive massive win.

Classic Belichick, 5-2 through seven games.

2011 was one fairly routine play away from a title so hope that comp is correct

Effin A, that's all I have to hang on as well. Hate this my fellow Pats fans jump on my opinions

That doesn't sound coherent, but it's a coagulation of my posts... you get my point, I am a PATS fan, so everyone who questions me can STFU.

I'm impressed with this one Salva. You took negativity to a whole new level here. You somehow turned a negative into a positive because of an overlying ultimate negative.

That's next level negativity. Not many can achieve that. Salva is truly a master of his craft.

10th in sacks equals nonexistent pass rush.

Man I can taste Salva's negativity through the comp screen.

On a totally unrelated note (10 days between games it too long obv), ESPN reported that Denver isn't going to negotiate further with Demariyus and Julius Thomas, and one of the two will likely hit free agency. In a fantasy world, who would you rather on the Pats?

My initial reaction was clearly Demariyus but then I thought about how Julius would create the most ridiculous nightmare matchups in two TE sets with Gronk.

Dreaming is nice.

I would like to know what planet you are on where Patriots defensive players are getting to the quarterback consistently, and forcing them into bad decisions. It's definitely not Earth.

I was surprised that we are 10th in sacks. There must be a fair amount of coverage sacks in that total.

If you could have 3 HOF'ers at any 3 positions in your organization, would there be any valid argument for any positions other than QB, HC, and owner?

It's definitely not the greatest pass rush in the league, but it's certainly not "non-existent," which was the point I was contending. Thinking losing Chandler isn't going to hurt is pretty much just going full ******.

sadly I think goodie is right, Salva at this point is 90% straight trolling. or he's just full ****** but I'm more inclined to think he's just decided to be a troll.

The funny thing is everybody is being fairly realistic at this point. We all know they are not elite, and we all know they don't suck. Except for Salva. If they don't win the SB that means they suck in his world. So either trolling or very very dumb.

This will hurt, but not as bad as people think.

Pats are probably headed for a three or four seed regardless, so if he's back for the playoffs fine.
