Jets are eliminated from the division race.
Since MIA and NE have identical division records, the common-opponents record would reduce to their records against the AFCS and NFCS. NE is 4-2 with games against JAX and @HOU coming up, MIA is 3-4 with a game against HOU coming up.
If NE loses the last two and MIA wins the next two, the common-opponents records would be equal. Next up would be the in-conference records, which would also be equal (NE was 1-1 against BAL and DEN, MIA would be 1-1 against SD and PIT).
The next tiebreaker would be "strength of victory". I think it might mean the cumulative record of all opponents beaten, but I could be totally wrong about that.
