Watching all these Broncos fans blame the loss on which day of the week the game was played on is hilarious.

just gotta hope for the best really, we are not gonna be the best team but hope to run good for a few games here.

just think what what teams would give to be 10-3 and needing to finish 3-0 for HFA in the playoffs. most would be ecstatic, that's a once in a decade season. for us it's like the 8th best team in the last 11 years
I know no team ever runs this good but how crazy good would this team be if we didn't have any of the injuries and still had Hernandez?

It's absolutely amazing that with all those key players out, we still have a very good chance at the 1 seed. Amazing.

So ya it's time to trust this large converged sample size, we almost never lose these late season games.

The Dolphins and Ravens are above average opponents on the road with a lot to play for, there's tons of games in that sample against teams whose seasons were over.

Ya and also tons of opponents who had plenty to play for. Some with a lot more to play for than the Dolphins or the Ravens do.

Do you also disallow hands against fish into your results when you figure your poker winrate? Come on now.

I dont think Tedy Bruschi, Roman Phifer, or Deion Branch are playing Sunday so not sure I care about late season wins in prior seasons even though BB is GOAT and Brady is GOATish

"drivers seat" sort of implies "controls own destiny" which the Pats do.
Agree its awesome given all thats happened. Fired up for Sunday.

Well at least I have no illusions about our chances in the playoffs anymore. Just too man key injuries. It's kinda embarrassing how we never prevent the other team from converting a 3rd and long. Every time they blow these situations.

Great work to move the ball on those final 2 drives with a make shift OL and having 3 slot recievers on the field. Pity about all the injuries, would have been nice to have someone over 6 ft on the last couple of throws into the endzone.

Yeah we played bad and didn't deserve to win. Brady still almost willed it to happen regardless. Edelman for MVP. Gostkowski, Fletcher, and Hightower for LVP.

What happened to Solder? Had to watch with no sound.

It's astonishing that with all these injuries that we're even talking about winning the division. I'm delighted to have double-digits in the win column, with chances to tack on more.

Left the game in the 2nd half with what they called a head injury. He missed practice most of the week after a concussion last week so obviously bad news if he had a 2nd concussion within 7 days later.

Some teams/QBs are just better at drafting/developing/scouting WRs. As a 9ers fan, my team certainly doesn't have that skill/ability. I guess it's also fortunate that Peyton's guys have always been healthy....but I guess that's a skill as well.
It's not weird at all. The front offices Peyton has played under have invested more resources (like first-round picks and $$$) on receivers/tight ends.

No one was calling Demaryius Thomas a HOFer because he got hurt his rookie season (after burning Darrelle Revis) and the next year his QB was Tebow.

Julius Thomas was well known before Peyton arrived. Alfred Williams - a defensive end on Elway's two Super Bowl winning teams - had been raving about him on the radio based on what he saw in practice after the Broncos drafted him in 2011. He didn't have any stats because lol Tebow.

Reggie Wayne doing well regardless of QB just proves our point.

Was reports that Boyce was walking around after the game with a very noticable limp.

He had 1 catch in 2 seasons (one with Peyton) and a 4th round pick from Portland St. Of course he is now great b/c all of a sudden he has a few good games with Peyton.

Pats have invested, at times, high round picks on skill players. The issue is many of them have sucked ass.

2013-Dobson (2nd)
2011-Ridley/Vareen (3rd/2nd)
2010-Gronk/Hernandez (2nd/4th)
2009-Tate (3rd)
2007-Chad Jackson/David Thomas (2nd/3rd)
2004-Watson (2nd)
2003-Bethel Johnson (2nd)
2002-Graham/Branch (1st/2nd)
2000-Redmon (3rd)

The biggest difference is a few home runs by the Colts/Denver in Marvin/Wayne/Demarius. Most of the top WRs in NE have been FA/trade in Moss, Welker.

I do understand how your casualfan intellect would find posts with any content confusing and frightening. You can put me on ignore, make the scariness go away, and retreat to your own world. A magical place where Brady always wins, Manning always sucks, and the Patriots don't have to deal with the reality of being beat to **** by injuries but rather can just win games through the magic of a historical December record.

EDIT: I will give you this, I was overoptimistic when I told you the Pats would be pick em or -1 against the Ravens. As long as Baltimore shows well tonight it will be Ravens -2.5, maybe even 3. So apologies for that mistake.

no Gronk and only midget receivers was indeed a recipe was disaster in the red zone. hopefully getting a couple of the athletes back will help, provided they catch the ball.

losing Solder is just real bad at this point

Yeah being out of offensive tackles is a real problem. Was Svitek hurt? Otherwise says what they think of Svitek at left tackle that they'd rather move freaking Mankins to tackle than play him there.
