Yeah, if he's got Carolina near the top and KC near the bottom, there must be a lot of last year figured into it.

Also, I just found out that the NE@CAR game is a primetime game. I think home-ice is magnified in primetime, so I'm no longer outraged that Pats are tiny dogs here (though I still like 'em).

I didn't know what "flipped through his slides" meant, now I see it's a link on his site. They worth looking at, KBZ?

When I heard about this guy a few years back, his "Play of the Week" had come out of the gate 10-0 or something, and he was picking 59-60% winners. He's barely been >50% since. But since he's added over/under picks, he's done well with those.

I know this isnt the right thread but id rather ask NE fans.

Fantasy Question:

I got Thompkins and he is currently like my #4 WR so he is on the Bench but he hasn't produced much recently and Dobson is currently a FA as is Carolina WR Steve Smith.

I'm debating if I should swap Thompkins for Dobson OR take Smith....

They haven't even targeted thompkins the last couple of weeks and Dobson has been killing it. I'd take him.

I thought he was inactive last week, never mind not targeted.

True. He'll be back if Collie is out though.

I think Collie got cut and they signed some other WR.

KT was a healthy scratch. Not a good leading indicator.

When it came out that KT was inactive last week Troy Brown said on the pre-game show that he wouldnt be suprised if KT had got a little big headed after the game winning catch vs the Saints and might have slacked off a little in practice. Basically made him inactive to put him back in his place.

One of the Patriots insiders was on the radio during the week and hinted at the same thing. So hopefully it was just about getting him to refocus and not a case of him hitting some wall in his development.

Re: KT, I'm on record as being a hater. I would guess he's not on the team next year even though he costs nothing. I think there was a spot for him when Dobson wasn't quite ready, but now I'm not sure. his hands are just so bad.

triple post: sick bye week so far. Colts loss + Bengals loss would be huge

I hate bye weeks.

And as someone who works nights, I hate that the next two games are prime time.

Really?

Thompkins in the dog house or something?

WTF happened? He was talked as being the next big thing for Brady....Weird. Yea after that TD vs. Saints he has been non productive.

Yea I think I'm gonna cut him and grab another WR to stash on bench.

Was he inured and inactive or just inactive because he wasn't productive?

Doesn't make sense.

it makes sense if he's not very good and was only playing earlier in the year b/c the team was in such bad shape

I mean the guy is an undrafted rookie, I don't think it would be so shocking if we discovered he wasn't good enough to play in the NFL

(yes he was healthy)

What I find shocking is that even though he was an UDFA...

I've never seen a player more hyped in camp/preseason as much as he was. Same with Sudfeld but KT was more hyped....

And now there's talk that he is inactive/verge of being cut? Wow. Is he really almost gonna get cut? Where you hear/read this?

Clearly Dobson is better than KT. They cut Collie so maybe KT is more useful now....Dobson has surprised me recently...In the beginning of the season he had hands like bricks but past few games he has played like a solid #2 WR. But sure Brady is making him look better but if he keeps it up he can deff play in the NFL. Nice pick by NE!

Maybe there is problems in locker room with KT? He had a bad rep so how has that been so far?

Whos better Boyce or Thompkins?

I haven't heard any talk of him being cut - that was me speculating. I think he'll last the year, but I would bet on him not making next years team. that's just a complete guess.

Him being inactive despite being healthy was widely reported.

re: pre-season hype - I feel like there are similar players every year

It's not much of a mystery, he got passed by Dobson who has made huge strides and is playing well now. With no Collie, he will see some snaps against the Panthers

4 losses is probably a bye week now. pats in great shape after today

I know people were curious about spread.

Opened NE +1 (+115)
CAR -1 (-128)

Thought it would be 1.5 or 2. I imagine the pats gonna spread it out and throw short a lot
