Hard to really judge the team on todays game. Felt like the offense never got out of 1st gear and I think that was the plan. They didnt need anything special to score today. Defense continues to look special even against a terrible team. Ive got high hopes this season.
I know that they've played four putrid offenses and one offense that was merely terrible, but I can't get over the fact they've given up two TDs and one FG through five games.
Getting a little worried. Good thing is we still have Cincy to play which should give the Pats 11-5 and with the tiebreaker over the Stealers that should them us in. But esp the games against KC and Buffalo could be anyone's games if the offense doesnt improve.
12-4 should be our floor with 13-3 our expected finish. Still got a game against Miami too. But I don't see our offense ever improving. We're just gonna have to hope our defense stands on its head for 3 games in January
There's 0 concern about making the playoffs, but we're far from guaranteed to even have a home game. Buffalo is very much live to winning the division. Both teams control their own destiny as far as the division goes, though Buffalo has the tougher remaining schedule.
I really don't think the houston loss is as big a deal as it seems. It sucked but Cannon was literally collapsing and even missed game time getting a fluid IV, along with many other sick players. We were away and Houston has a pretty good team. The Ravens and a few other teams are legit good and gonna be hard to beat but I don't think our odds of winning the super bowl are any worse than they were last year and they still got it done. It sucks what's going on with our offense but if Karras and our receivers can get healthy by playoff time and Wynn can stay healthy I think we will have a decent shot.
