Peyton's breakdown of Chiefs game is worth watching.

I don't know about an easy win, tho. That's what I expect from them *every* SB, and it never happens. Never.

It's probably buried in BB's Terms&Conditions.

Dont know how much longer you can hope the defense pitches a shutout. Really hurts that they couldnt take advantage. Bad half from Brady.

Losing chung is gonna hurt. We really need to put some damn points on the board. So many okay drives that just fizzled to no points ugh.

The Chung injury worried me.

But, it seems the Patriots had the Rams' receiver routes perfectly scouted.

We'll need some new thread title suggestions.

Such a weird season and a weird super bowl......amazing to get #6 when the saints/chiefs looked so dangerous.....hope Gronk doesn't retire but either way I think we should be looking pretty good going into next year with so much draft capital. Michel's need holding up was huge this year

Browns have 95 from the Shelton trade.

We should have 97 (Solder) & 101 (Butler) for compensatory picks, though.

Ugly game, but good enough

Cowherd talk about the Rams WR's. Cooks was with NE so they know his strengths and weaknesses, the Pats DB's practiced vs him for a year. Woods was in Buffalo where the Pats played against him for about 8 games and was teammates with Gilmore for 4 years.

Really impressed with the player Van Noy has turned into. Went from having little faith in him to him turning into a real playmaker. Hightower also seems to always show up in the big games.

Matt Patricia's fingerprints all over this trophy, believe it or not:

Post-game, Steve Young asked BB if he studied how the Bears shut down the Rams this season (a Bears fan I know suggested this week that BB would do this; I scoffed, "BB doesn't have the Bears' defense! He doesn't have Khalil Mack!"). BB replied, "Yeah, the Bears...but moreso, the Lions, what they did."

SI has a piece today about BB using the Cover-4 that worked for DET. Quoted a Rams player saying, "We knew they'd try something we hadn't scouted...Cover-4 was unscouted."

Thanks, Matt, you old rocket scientist.

Coming in here and taking BB's "Everyone counted us out early in the season, mid-season..." out of context does not ridicule us--it ridicules you. You look ridiculous.

In that Steve Young convo, BB added that "everyone counted us out after we lost two games in December," and he's 100% correct. Losing a close game at PIT, on the heels of losing to that Miracle play at MIA, I had folks LINING UP to tell me that it was all downhill for these guys now...

...but those folks were no different than you. Just trying to pull us down, to feel better about themselves.

QFT. If Dont'A's not hurt last year, this year is ring #7. Hightower's easily the most underrated player on the team.

When folks ask me about Brady and Gronk slowing down/declining/retiring, I tell them I'm more worried about Hightower...but man, you guys are right about him in big spots.

We've run pretty poorly when it comes to injuries to important players. Lost chung this year. Lost Cooks really early in super bowl last year. Not having Gronk or Edelman many postseason runs. What's amazing to me about the patriots is how it's a group of such strong minded guys who are so unselfish and always willing to adapt. Also like that they never gloat or talk themselves up, they just put in the work, speak respectfully of their opponents, and get the job done.

I have no good suggestions for new thread title..but I'm eager to replace the old one...

Kind of like my nephew, every time Gost misses a FG.
