I don't know how there were any Huskerpedia "supporters". How could anyone not root for Max seeing as how he was basically the face of the site?

We're getting better as the season goes on. It looks like the coaches have figured out our strengths and are putting people in position to succeed.

Beck recognized what was working and called a great second half. This was something Watson never did.

And Carl or Bo or whomever came up with our defensive gameplan did an awesome job. Our secondary looked like last years and we were able to pressure the qb.

We keep this up and the division is ours and I think we can hang with whomever we would play in the championship.

I dunno, he and whatever his partner's name is essentially built the whole site and provided all of the content for like a decade as far as i know. I remember reading a thread about David on HP where everyone was basically like, Max is a douche who just wants money so lets not support him... Yeah as opposed to the huge corporation that owns Pedia and basically ousted him from his own site for no reason. Total silliness.

You should try to find the pre-trial thread on the HuskerMax message board. At one point, the days events were postponed because the defendant's expert witness (or the defendant himself - i don't recall exactly) refused to show up in court because he only owned one pair of pants. The defendant's attorney actually had to inform the judge of the excuse.

If the thing about Raymond is true, that explains a lot about the defense. It was seriously night-and-day between Sparty and say the Fresno game. I'm reeeeaallly looking forward to the next 4 games.

What happened to the defense from last week?

Now that I think about it, they went with the defense we used last year against spread offenses. Problem with that is we don't have the talent we had last year. That final drive I was sitting there thinking if they run left we're screwed because nobody is over there. They proceeded to run the ball right down our throats.

And what a waste of a great game by T-Mart. The offensive line looked like they did early in the season and got their **** handed to them by the NW defensive line.

Gonna need another LOL Sparty if we want to get to the CCG.

Yeah, my Penn State buddy keeps acting like there's no way Neb is gonna win. Saying stuff like: "The crowd's gonna be the loudest ever.", "This is a perfect matchup for Penn State. Our defense is gonna shut down that gimmick offense, and I know our offense sux but Neb's defense isn't that good."

Idk, I was thinking about betting on Neb, but he talked me out of it. I'm certainly not gonna bet on Penn State though. I'm still mesmerized by how ****ty Penn State's offense is, and how Neb totally shut down MSU--a similar offense and a better offense than Penn State. Nebraska by 10 imo.

I believed the Huskers would cover the spread @ Penn State prior to this news and now my gut says the Huskers will cover it by more. I just don't see our players being affected by any of this stuff. I just don't like the insane media coverage this game is getting or is going to get.

Agreed with Bo's call to go for it on 4th and short at the end of the game even though it didn't work out. Solid win, glad the 'Skers were mentally strong. Thought Beck started playing not to lose on the last 3 series or so. Martinez looked good again and David's 4th down stop was big time. I hope he's not starting to wear down though because I'm not seeing him cover the field laterally as well as when the season began. Oh well, he can do no wrong in my book.
