Been off the grid for a few days in Wisconsin. No point in really posting what I would have posted prior to the Iowa game and prior to Eichorst's statement of support.

Bummed the season ended the way it did. Bummed Abdullah did not reach 100 yards rushing. Bummed Pelini made a total fool of himself during the game.

Happy that the season is over and our OL can begin to heal before the bowl game. Happy that Abdullah has basically locked up a spot on the All-Big Ten team. Happy that Pelini is still our coach for one more year. Happy that Michigan, Penn State, USC, Florida, Tennessee, Arkansas, Virginia Tech, Kansas State, and Colorado had worse years than us. Happy that we received two more commitments today including one from a stud JuCo DT.

I hope we get a fun match-up in our bowl game. I hope Pelini makes some changes on his staff. I hope Stanton can push Armstrong these next six months. And I hope our recruiting class finishes strongly. Our defense could be very very good very very soon boys.

I'd be crazy disappointed with the Bowl destination and the opponent if it wasn't for the fact that I think it's a decent opportunity to get a win over a name SEC team (due to Georgia's injuries, not because I think we're on their level).

Every year for the past few years I've had the same irrational mentality of "next year is going to be the year". Now I realize that we are most likely going to be stuck in mediocrity for the rest of eternity.

The Nebraska glory days are definitely over. Very sad.

If Nebraska is going to stick with Bo, and Bo is going to stick with Paps and Beck, it will be a long time before we return to national relevance. These guys are all learning on the job (hopefully).

It will be interesting to see if the new AD forces Bo to make some changes to his staff after the season.

I'm starting to lose hope in Eichorst too

Nebraska needs to make big changes - a sort of Bill Byrne -esque remakeover of the athletic department and branding. Osborne was a good transitional AD who did some good things (Stadium, arena, Tim Miles, etc) and bad (moving us to the B1G for no reason, putting all eggs in the Pelini basket) and it was time for him to move on. Thought we'd get an innovative businessman in there to shake stuff up a bit. We got a guy who's scared of being out in public and doesn't want to say or do anything. Sweet hire, Harvey.

I am so sick about everyone talking about Georgia's injuries. We're missing our T-Mart and half the offensive line.

Really good team effort today. Only one turnover and were a couple of dropped passes from even more scoring. I thought the defense did a pretty good job minus a couple of blown assignments.
