Apparently Suttles hit David Santos (who figures to be hugely important for the defense this year) over the head with some glass bottle that's larger than a beer bottle. (liquor/wine bottle of some sort, no idea). Santos had to get stitches and Suttles was cited for the incident.

Brown may or may not have been involved, there's rumor that he is gone for some other incident. Can't speak to that. Still, a couple of young guys that had yet to step on the field for us and had some potential - at least in Suttles case imo - what an idiotic mess

So yeah, I'm officially on the Cornhusker bandwagon. With a good senior QB, the best OL Pelini has had (according to him), and of course Abdullah who's as good as any RB in the big ten, and Kenny Bell and a wide receiving corps with "almost too much talent", this should be Nebraska's best offense since Crouch was running all over the place. This 2013 edition should seriously be dominant!

And Ok, I know the defense was horrible last year, but are they really gonna be THAT horrible again this year? Can it actually get worse? I say no way. Not against this year's extremely soft schedule.

Cool story bro alert: I was playing high stakes poker the other day with my dad at the Orleans ($4-$8 limit holdem with a half kill!!!) and a 40ish year old guy from Nebraska sat right next to me. He was a really nice guy but extremely annoying. He had a hickish type voice but not as twangy as say a guy from Tennessee or something. I found it very endearing, except for the fact that whenever he talked to me, he kept unintentionally spitting in my face. I assume all Nebraska people are like this. In retrospect, I also consider this cosmological coincidence a sign that I should bet big on Big Red!
