BTN had an episode of Big Ten Elite about the '94 Huskers. Watching it gave me chills as I remembered that season. That team was so good, they started their third string qb, a walk-on redshirt sophomore, at Kansas State, and won.

One thing that was really interesting was how TO predicted what was going to happen in the Orange bowl. He said not to give in to emotion and Miami would make a crucial penalty and how to stay the course and Miami's defense would be worn out in the end.

Also surprising how fat Tommy Frazier and Matt Turman got, and how thin the linemen looked.

lol, i thought this too. seems like a lot of skill guys put on weight, while a lot of o-linemen lose it.

I only wish I was able to remember more of that season; I was only 5 years old. I recall much, much more of '95 than I do '94.

This week kind of scares me. MSU has the type of defense where they won't have to blitz much which is pretty bad for Martinez who has done pretty well against blitzes. I just hope Maxwell doesn't turn any big corners against us. Should be interesting to see how big the sea of red is at Sparty Stadium too

just hilariously ridiculous...I felt really bad for NWU fans two weeks ago and felt bad again (moreso for Dantonio and Dennard than the MSU fan base)

Nebraska is #16. We take care of business against Penn State this week and entering the Top 10 before the Big Ten Championship (if not before then immediately after) is a very real possibility. Who would have thunk it?

This game has 2011 MSU written all over it. A faux-west-coast passing attack vs. a Pelini defense ranked #1 in the nation in completion percentage and #8 in passing efficiency defense, coupled with a rushing attack going against a team missing their star D-tackle? Favored at home by 7, no, 8, no 9 points now...
