Recruiting will be fine

Moos is a baws but gotta let your actions speak. The goal is to beat OSU, not Iowa though.

No doubt the class rankings will be seen very differently. The vast majority of his UCF classes consisted of kids that didn't/couldn't camp all summer because of financial considerations - or the total lack of desire of leaving Florida - so attaining the ****'s needed to lift class ranking was what it was. No doubt he will recruit well - but getting as many kids from Florida as he will need to compete and have "OSU and *ichigan running scared" will be tough. All that said you are in the west and it shouldn't take much to win that division.

BTW - not trolling at all. I followed your team and actually liked it a bit when Bo coached there. We have just had a first hand view of Frost and the great things he did here at UCF. His recruiting strategy in Florida was not a secret.

Yeah like nobody thinks recruiting to NU is easy, it's just not impossible and we've had good classes in some bad years with bad coaches. Going to be real tough to ever break top 15 consistently but regular top 20 but with higher retention rates and a few big landings is possible.

Yea I dont buy the Nebraska can't recruit argument either. The only question that matters is can they at least share equal time in the B1G championship game with Wisconsin. With Frost the answer is yes. And when youre going to the championship game that often you can anyways luckbox to something even better. That's the future of Nebraska football. And that's pretty awesome. Recruiting would only be an issue if Penn State was in the West.

Yes, NU should be able to out-recruit every team in the West.

And they should be able to get to the B1G championship game more often than Michigan and Penn State. **** Delany man.

Yeah and success begets success. Lincoln is also a great town and the University is nice. I'm just not concerned about recruiting it's way more about actually fielding a team which doesn't suck.

if you bet against them being able to recruit, they will have a top 10 class next year.
if you bet for them being able to recruit, they will go the way of Illinois.

fade ILP is almost as strong as fading riverman.

I've been a Nebraska hater almost all my life. That aint no secret. But they got Frost man. Nebraska is back. Michigan will collect an easy win from them this year but after that Nebraska games will always be tough games.

As a Michigan fan I'm very glad Frost has come to Nebraska. His teams play hard, well, and he doesn't take ****. I have a bit of a mancrush on him for his "Not all titles Bama claims are legit either" comment. Carry on.

Frost coming is horrible. Ive been fearing this for over 3 years. I nearly jizzed in my pants when they passed him up the first time. The conference is already too tough. We can't even beat Ohio State and we have our hands full with Penn State and Michigan State. Nebraska being back is certainly not something we need. I mean obviously the people who should really be crying are Wisconsin and Iowa fans, but Michigan fans should still not be happy about this.

Plus wasn't it endless fun watching Nebraska lose all the time? Kinda like the natural enjoyment you or any rational college football fan gets when Notre Dame loses. That **** never gets old and now it's over. I know Nebraska is slated to lose alot of games this year but the joy will be hollow knowing what's on the horizon.

DiNardo says Harbaugh ‘all over map,’ while Frost clearly ‘has a plan’

Quote:
It's seemingly a little quieter on the Jim Harbaugh front these days.

Maybe we can spark up some noise with an intriguing question: Who will win a Big Ten divisional race first, Harbaugh at Michigan or Scott Frost at Nebraska?

Gerry DiNardo, veteran Big Ten Network analyst, didn’t hesitate with his answer — Frost at Nebraska, he says — nor did the analyst cut Harbaugh much slack in the discussion.

DiNardo suggested the gap separating Wisconsin and Nebraska in the West Division isn't quite as wide as the one separating Ohio State and Michigan in the East.

The "all over the map" stuff is dumb but he's right about everything else altho it's kinda self-evident.

Since the Royals aren't giving me a reason to watch, waiting for football season is making the summer drag on.

My brother-in-law got ISU season tickets. My niece lives in Ames and just had a son, so he has extra reasons to make the trip North. So I'll get to go to at least one game up there. The Clones should be pretty good this year (by ISU standards).

Martinez is the starter.

I was hoping that would be the case. This is going to be exciting.

It looks like Gebbia just didn't put on much weight his redshirt year and he just looks to frail to be able to run Frost's offense.

Isn't Martinez the better runner? If the passing skills are close, running ability was probably the difference maker.

Martinez is the better runner by a decent margin

And yeah Martinez is 220, Gebbia 195, per the depth chart, that has to help too

And there goes Gebbia. You don't really need a backup QB, do you?
