With the right guy, I think Nebraska could achieve pretty good results. They were already decent with Pelini. There is no real competition in the B1G west. You play 3 bad teams OOC, go 5-1 in the west, that's 8 wins a year guaranteed. Some years will be lucky they won't have to play PSU-OSU-UM in the east, and can get to 10 wins almost without playing anyone. Then you luck sack the B1G champ game and you're in the playoffs. If Nebraska gets rolling, makes the right schedule moves and starts winning 9-10/yr they will get enough recruits to beat everyone reliably except the top half of the east with whom they are at a massive recruiting disadvantage.
