Agreed - I have to talk myself into believing that we have a shot to win. I'm going to wake up tomorrow expecting a loss - and if we win, I guess it's gravy. This franchise has made me a little jaded.

OMG what a game we ran so well in the 1st half

Hope Ray Edwards is okay

Have a feeling we're going to get torched next sunday. Somehow the line is Saints -4?

Saints are gonna get 38. We just need to get 41 and we should be good...

I like how Chilly didn't step on the throat in the 2nd/3rd quarter, when it made a difference, but decided to do it in the 4th.

So fun. Just got home from the game.

Ray should be ok I'd think... he did come back in for a series after he got hurt. He was absolutely dominating before that.

He came back for a series but after like 2 plays came back out again hobbling a bit. Hope so, he was a beast today.

Maybe it was because our pass rush was so good, but Tyrell looked really good today.
Ray Edwards +3 looked great up front.
Bryant Mckinnie looked like a pro bowler he was fantastic today. He made a really nice block on DWare on the first Sidney TD.
The run blocking is still very troublesome, we haven't been opening up holes for ADP.

This. He came back and and tried but was too hurt to continue playing.

Seeing the injury, I thought it would be worse than it was, because it was a plant injury, (not a contact injury)...because he went planted his foot, then poof, went down clutching his leg... that sometimes means he blew something up...

at least he was healthy enough to try and keep playing, hopefully just a mild strain or sprain or something...

Haha, on Sid's 2nd TD he wasn't even running a route. His assignment on the play was to cut Ware (which he did a good job of) and then he slipped out and Brett found him after rolling out.

Yeah. Expert clock management/play calling at the end of the first half as well. We could have the worst coach in NFL history win a super bowl this year. This thought makes me sad for Bud Grant, but I still want it to happen.

Yeah that play was awesome. As were several other plays today. What a game!

If we can play that well vs New Orleans, the Vikes will win another blowout imo. What are the chances we can continue playing like this on the road with an idiot coaching the team?

Yes - thats an American Idol refence, lol. I've been told that Favre walked into Winter Park on Thursday morning singing that song & everyone cracked up. I guess a lot of the players watch that show.

You don't really believe this do you? I mean, I think you are going to have to play that good just to win. It wont be a blowout. I do think this will be the game of the year so far.

Go Favre.

Also, lol @ any Jets fans hating of Favre for last season. Sorry to you guys that he had his worst 5 game stretch because of some injury or he would have taken them to the playoffs.

We aren't blowing the Saints out unless they lose Brees

“We don’t care what Keith Brooking says,” Williams said. “He was about to get his ass whupped on our sideline over there. It don’t matter. Nobody said anything when they blew out the Eagles [the past two weeks]. It’s the playoffs. It ain’t no regular-season game. If you lose, you go home. We take no pity on them. Do they expect us to? I don’t care about no Brooking.”

"He don't look no 40," said Vikings nose tackle Pat Williams.

how come i never knew how awesome pat was?

Donkey A+ as well

Shiancoe laughed after hearing Brooking's comments. "OK, we apologize. I'm sorry. Better?"

yeah, I think if we can beat on Brees the way we did Romo, he's going to have a miserable day. I know he is a lot better than Romo, and they have a lot of other weapons, but I dont think the Saints D is as good as Dallas's. No matter who a QB is, if you can hit them hard enough often enough, they arent so good after a little while.

That's a huge key for us - we need to pound Brees early and often.

Also, I'm not saying that I think it will be a blowout, but I do think it has potential for either team to blow out the other.

while i approve of running up the score and of going for it on 4th and 3 up 100 pts, i do find it hilarious that chilly thinks he's some ultra-aggressive badass because of the stuff he does when there's exactly zero at stake.
