He leads the league with 63 catches, and his eight touchdown catches are the fifth-most among players. He’s tied with Antonio Brown and Julio Jones for the most targets in the NFL (121), yet Kirk Cousins ’ 120.5 passer rating when throwing Thielen ’s way is far better than both Jones (102.8) and Brown (80.4). If you can figure out a way to slow him down, let an NFL defensive coordinator know.

Also interesting, Anthony Harris is by far the top-ranked defensive player for the Vikings this year (#2 among all safeties). Hunter is 2nd (14th best edge defender).

Vikings upgraded when Sendajo got hurt. Harris has been playing really well. Going against Gronk this week, could maybe use a large safety like Iloka or kearse against him.

If the Vikings don’t make the playoffs, does Zimmer job come into question? I hate to say it because I like him, but 1 playoff win in 5 years. Only 2 playoff appearances.

Need a new OC and upgrade the line and this team be fine. We are still 67% to make playoffs this year. I'm sure that number swings a lot after the game with Seattle. We win that one we are going to get in; we lose it's going to be a struggle but still could.

yeah i'd maybe fire defilipo but firing zimmer would be ******ed. D has way over performed in previous years and is now under performing this year vs a super tough schedule. the OL is a huge problem for the offense but still think defilippo should be able to do more given the talent at the skill positions.

Defense is almost half of a team. Our defense is great and held them to 3. That isn't luck. Holy **** what a poor offensive performance though.

We should have had the ball at the 15, down 6 with over 5min to go, instead Hawks get ball and march down and seal it. Also their FG early on was set up by a BS PI call. Sick of watching this rigged bull****. We are firing DeFilippo after this game right? I mean we have to. For how ****ty Cousins was we still could have easily won this game. Still in 6th place, lol.

Nah, Vikings OL got completely manhandled in this game, I mean the Seahawks D front 7 was physically just pushing them into the backfield the whole game. If you recorded the game just watch the line of scrimmage when the Vikings had the ball. Also Pats showed how to defense Diggs and Thielen. Vikings #3 and #4 WRs are not much of a threat so kind of just focus on Diggs and Thielen including double teaming both. Running game was much better last year with Murray and McKinnon.

What makes the Vikings oline play even more pathetic and sad, is that they have been pretty healthy all year starting the same 5 in most games this year. They don’t have injuries as an excuse.

The offensive line is a huge problem and it has been for a long time. Remmers was a horrible signing. Compton should not be playing. Elflein is having a bad season. Reiff is average at best for his position (according to my non-scientific eye test). ONeil looked promising, but SEA abused him after he hurt his leg last night - hopefully he will be ok. We could have drafted a good G with our 1st pick and we didnt. That would have filled a huge hole. We need to focus on acquiring multiple new starting o-linemen this off-season.

Making a good hire for OC would be good too.

Kirk Cousins vs Case Keenum

Case’s 2017 numbers very similar to Kirk’s numbers this year. Kirk got signed for $84 million guaranteed. Keenum signed with Denver for $25 million guaranteed with a max value of $36 million for two years. What kind of OL help could the Vikings have received for $10 million a year in FA? Looks like the Vikings paid too much for Kirk.
