Being upset about the Cox signing without knowing his salary or how they plan on using him doesn't make a lot of sense. Taking a flier on a guy who you can buy low on can be a very smart move.

Well Speilman is reconsidering resigning Charles Johnson. That's pretty damn brutal. I also have no clue why Greenway's contract has not be restructured or why he has not been released. I can't see how he should be paid $8.2 million. Before that? Hated Winfield being cut.

Lol you read that here, in a post by MM. There are cap benefits if they wait to June 1 to cut him. I thought you could designate someone as a June 1 cut now, though, so that they could start looking for a new job.

Good chance Cox doesn't make the final roster. Seems comparable to signing Vasher(?) last season.

I'm fine with the signings so far but we were very likely the highest bidder on all deals. Everson deal seems to be a case of either lol frazier or lol spielman. lol frazier if Everson beasts and it took 4 years to get him starting and lol spielman if he sucks.

I can honestly say I have no clue what the Packers are doing. I know TT is a very good GM when it comes to the draft and waiting on signing vets until a week after FA starts but resigning Raji, signing an un-inspired Peppers and now Guion??? WOOF!

Not shocked by this at all. Guion never played with a sense of emergency which was beyond stupid since he could have been paid $4.5 mil. a year of he showed Zimmer ANYTHING!

If Melton does sign elsewhere Vikings will contact Kevin Williams to come back and play DT.
