Only player the Vikings cut who I would have liked to see make the roster was Garrett Mills, he's always struck me as a very effective receiving TE. I wonder if the Dugan TD last night sealed his fate. Still, if Shiancoe goes down he would be nice to have back.

Although I heard it was going to happen days ago, it's still kind of surprising to see McCauley get cut. Not that I'm going to miss him or anything.

I was hoping Mills would succeed, but I think he regressed over the past year or so, and really hasnt shown much thats been very impressive ever. Dugan has shown that he can block well, and isnt terrible as a receiver, so I think this decision was already made before his TD. I wouldnt mind seeing Mills come back if someone gets hurt, but it wouldnt bother me if he wasnt available either.

McCauley stinks. He shows no effort or football smarts imo. I'm glad they cut that bum. The guy they kept, Karl Paymah, looks good to me. He looks like a very good tackler and seems to keep his head in the game. Keep an eye on him if he gets playing time.

edit - I was glad to see we kept both Jaymar Johnson and Reynaud. Reynaud looked spectacular on that punt return, but I have a feeling Johnson might be the better punt returner of the two. I wouldnt mind seeing less of Wade and more of those two guys at WR.

I was hoping the pack would pick him up, but this is fitting:

wade cut, Greg Lewis signed apparently?

i dont like it cuz Wade knows the playbook, and we very well might need our WR depth if Berrian's nagging injuries continue or Percy gets hurt. Keep in mind Sid has also been injured each of the last 2 seasons. I guess the team must be comfortable w/ Jaymar and Reynauld.

Wade dropped a lot of passes while he was here. I'm not disappointed about this in the least. I think it shows they have some confidence in who they have here as much as liking the guy they picked up.

Court ruling comes down: sounds like the Williams Wall will be suspension-free all season.

Good news.

So as I understand this, and correct me if I'm wrong, the federal court ruled that the state court had jurisdiction and the state court judge said he has no time on his docket for this at all this year, right?

So this could be an issue AGAIN next year? Blah, wish this case would go away. Tired of reading about it.

Yeah they cut Booty. Not shocked that they made Sage the #3. Considering he probably thought he was coming here to be a starter I bet he isn't thrilled with it lol.

Same Favre I saw in preseason. Can't handle pressure, can't get the ball to the receivers. <3
