There's no way he's getting fired, and I think its very likely they give him an extension this off season (which I'm not on board with). While I don't dislike his coaching as much now as I did 4 weeks ago, I still think he's a bottom 50% NFL HC - at best. He's a nice guy and most of the players (probably not Harvin though) seem to respect him.

I know wasn't being sincere at his prospects of winning the award but you got to admit considering he was a lame duck coach he did quite well with what was given to him.

yeah, my opinion of him is a little higher than it was, and he'll never approach chilly level, but I still would rather see him gone.

I think AP is a near-lock to win MVP. I tend to agree that it should be Peyton, but I'll be happy either way.

RE: Frazier, I've pretty much resigned myself to never really liking who our coach is given the way things are done in the NFL. Frazier seems better than most.

Idk the extent of Peyton's injury, which makes judging this close, but a longer recovery timeframe makes a comeback less impressive all else being held equal.

True but not playing to MVPish is a bigger jump in production than 20th in rushing uards to MVPish.

Peterson basically rushed for 1000 yards last season.

And we comparing Peterson to LeRoy Hoard itt. I was openly bitching about having him on my fantasy team. Then he turned in the greatest stretch of games i have ever seen. By a longshot.

Sherrels played the worst i've ever seen a CB play last game. He can't cover or tackle anybody. He was so bad that Rochester JM un-retired his number.

Sherels was so, so, so horrific on every defensive snap yesterday. I was at the game and watched him every play. He is a great guy i'm sure and means well he just has no business stepping on an NFL field sans special teams.

Give Winfield something, don't care if it's legal or not. We NEED him on the field Saturday. Don't think we can score 37 again and beat GB in another shoot-out. We are going to have to contain Rodgers somewhat, and we will be neeing Winfield to do that.

I think playing at Lambeau(sp) could be helpful if the weather turns bad. Whole lot easier to run in the cold, wind, snow than throw, may be the best chance of slowing Rodgers down.

Good point. Definately rooting for minus temps and blizzard conditions; then just run AP 45 times.

What a class act. He appears to barely even care about the rushing record & was genuinely happy for the team.

Good thread title suggestion imo.

Contrast that to this clown: @EricDickerson

Daddy keeps the record!!!!! My son will break one day

What a douche. I used to like that guy.

....when the pain of a fractured hand forced Winfield to leave the field for good in the second quarter, it also essentially knocked Robinson out of the game as well. Winfield played just 18 of 64 defensive snaps (28 percent), while Robinson played only 14 (22 percent).

Why?

Because Robinson has limited experience covering the slot. So that meant Marcus Sherels, the team's top return guy on special teams, spent more than half the game as the nickel back against reigning league MVP Aaron Rodgers. Sherels, the team's No. 5 cornerback, actually ended up playing 32 defensive snaps (50 percent) because of his experience covering the slot.

Anyone else see anything wrong with this?

ADP making a push to become my favorite viking ahead of Moss, his season this year was unreal i'm sad that he didn't break the record
I don't get how anyone can have Moss over ADP.

Like this thread title.

Adrian is an absolute beast for having 2K yards this season. It was fun to watch and hopefully he has some postseason success.

They played 5 outdoor games, @ Colts, Redskins, Seahawks, Bears and Packers, all losses.

Frazier has won me over a little bit. His clock management still needs work but for the most part the team seems disciplined and they play hard for him. Plus I loved him going for it on that 4th and 1.

I'm actually kind of in the same boat. His clock management has to be one of the worst in the NFL though; I mean seriously, can they hire an assistant just for that purpose? I have liked his gameplans lately (give AP the ball), and him insta going for it on 4th down again was awesome.

Still unsure we should give him the extension; we have him signed for next year, why not just play it out?
