I've been searching Vikings articles today to see if anyone mentions how much Favre called the plays himself during the hurry-up 4th Q.
Quote:
It was Favre, after all, who threw for a career-high 446 yards and appeared to be calling most of the plays during a frantic fourth quarter
That's the only comment I can find. We got a glimpse of awesomeness there but now we'll go back to Dugan/Tahi/Kleinsasser vs Chicago. Yeah, I know we can't go hurry up all the time, but we can go 3 wides most of the time, even with Bernard Berrian on the field.
Seeing Peterson run like he did a few times yesterday when give space is so beautiful. This zone left/zone right, run into a wall of your own blockers crap is so frustrating. It's telling as well that yesterday he got his 2nd career receiving TD with the first coming in the first game of his career.
