Just realized I've never really watched Kevin Martin play. He's got a funky shot.

Wolves Didn't play very well that half and ended it only down 2. Hopefully we can pick it up in second and get the W.

6 turnovers from Wes tonight. And it's not like they are to's coming out of aggressive moves or anything. They're just dumb stuff.

Crazy lineup with Tolliver at the 5 and Beasely at the 4

The Rockets trying to guard Beasely with a small guy is not working.

I'm a Syracuse fan, maybe the only one in MN, but you're right on the money. It is like he has no idea how to play basketball.

When Rubio sets Beasely up with an open shot you just know it's going in. Hopefully he realizes letting Rubio do the creating is basically playing on easy mode for a scorer.

back to back smart beasley games. this game his shot was falling. also he seems to be much more aggressive this year than he was last year(so far). I'd have to look at the numbers but last year he fell in love too much with his long jumper.

this game he was aggressively looking to get to the rim and it helped create a lot of open looks.

3 wins in 4 games aint bad

Holy ****! He almost said this word for word!!

If Beasely "gets it" (still unlikely) wowow that would be great.

Also I love that rubio needed three boards for a triple double at the end of the third and didn't change his game one bit. in fact he passed up a couple easy def rebounds (that were guaranteed to end up with a teammate) in order to start breaking out. I hope he rubs off on kevin love

Webster was quietly good tonight (aside from 2 consecutive Wes-like TO's). I want Wes out and Webster in his place. I want Beasley to keep coming off the bench. If he can accept that 6th man role, it would be immense for us.

I want Luke to be the backup PG and play less minutes at the 2, somehow. I want Darko to remain in illness exile. I want us to play alot of games like we did tonight!

Love was immense tonight. I don't remember a single bad shot. He usually has a few of those I'm-the-star-I'm-taking-over moments. Not tonight.

He had one rough baseline fadeaway that he very nearly airballed.

I think hes immense almost every night. I just meant that sometimes he gets too into his stats. I dont think it hurts his game much, its just when guys are selfless I think the team feeds off it. When rubio says who cares about a triple double I care more about stepping on houston's throat thats a winning mentality

That's a big if, but tonight was the best game he's played for the Wolves, and it was preceded by his best game at that point so far this season.

He started shooting off the pass for basically the first time ever. He's starting to realize, "hey, I'm wide open now - I dont need to look over the floor and make a move, I can just shoot it". If he does that all the time, he's a hell of a lot better player. Rubio gets him wide open shots.

7-4 with Rubio starting.

yeah, Beasley was taking it to the hole and drawing fouls. He's good when he does that. And he was making FTs! In Friday night's game program, he had shot ~.441 from the FT line so far this season to that point. There was no excuse for that.

I'm a long ways from believing he can be a consistent, smart player, but maybe Adelman has got into his head and it can happen. If Beasley somehow turns into a great player, we're a SG away from being a great team.

Wes sucks. He needs to not start and basically never see the floor imo. Webster is going to be a good role player. He can start at SG or SF and take all Wes' minutes imo.

Love didnt have many rebounds tonight and that didnt seem to bother him.

I agree willie and what you reiterate above was how I read your first post. Things just kind of flowed to Kevin tonight and when it's all over he still ended up with 29 pts or w/e it was.
