Re: Minnesota Timberwolves- Re-re-rebuilding Time

Another ugly win. With few exceptions all season, every game is an ugly win or an uglier loss.

I never thought Id be so indifferent, un excited about a 16-11, 4th seed in the west timberwolves team, until this team showed up. Besides Thibs, Butler and Gibson, no body on the team looks like they give a phuck if they win or lose.

I hear all of that, but I really, really prefer winning to losing.

Regarding the bold, especially Wiggins.

yeah, winning is good. Winning more would be better though, and this team has the talent to have a much better record than they do if they put in a little more effort on both ends of the floor.

Regardless of the result last night I have to say Towns looked to be putting in more of an effort defensively. Very active with his hands and solid positioning down low. I know Embid was a little injured but just from the aspect of effort and energy it was good to see from KAT.

Re: Minnesota Timberwolves- Re-re-rebuilding Time

Yeah i thought Towns was very good on the whole. He had some defensive lapses down the stretch and in OT, which hurt, but it's hard to play 48 minutes and not be exposed a few times when you're a manufactured defender.

Crawford really sucks.

We are past the 1/3 point of the season. On pace for 46.7 wins, which is adequate imo. We've remained about where we've been all year at 15th in SRS, 5th in offense, 25th in defense, net rating of 0.6. We appear to be pretty mediocre treadmilly, despite being pretty healthy. Hopefully Bjelly comes back and we can go back to a 9 man rotation.
