The good thing is rotations will, in theory, be solidified as the team gels.

Nice to see some solid defensive effort last 2 games, especially from KAT.

Well he is definitely expendable given Thibs refusal to play him.

Hard to count the Thunder game as a solid defensive effort when they had an ORtg of 120.7, it was basically great offense overcoming the pathetic defensive effort.

Today's defense was sub par as well just not as bad as usual which probably makes it seem better

Could be true. I guess I definitely was eye testing it. You could see in the Pistons game he just wasn't doing a thing. Last 2 games at least seemed more engaged and not making blatantly awful mistakes due to lack of effort.

I watched like half the game last night and thought teague looked awful. He had a nice stat line and I didn't see OT, which was evidently his best period, but when I did watch all he did was miss floaters, turn the ball over, and play matador defense while occasionally swiping for a steal (and usually getting called for a foul)

Teague had 6 steals last night, and multiple deflections. He didn't do a good job on Dragic in the first, Dragic kind of went nuts, but i thought he did a good job getting in the passing lane and interrupting Miami's offense. To me he was the most impactful player in the game last night.

Albeit Miami still shot well and I wouldn't say Mn's defense looked good last night(because it didn't), but there were times where MN forced Miami into long twos, forced them to turn the ball over, etc. It's still not good, but there were good sequences...which is a hell of a lot better than last week.

Have to see how they settle down but at the moment they look like last years team, good offense terrible defense . they are just winning all the close games and not losing them at the moment which is new

He was terrible in the 1st quarter. He played lazily. He was a lot better towards the end of the game. Basically the same thing for Wiggins.

Teague was ridiculously awful in the 1st quarter, in full turnstile mode. But he had excellent 2nd, 4th, and OT.

Gorgui balled his ass off that half. Taj and Bjelly also played very well.

Officials giving us the middle finger a second game in a row.

I hope we start seeing more of Bjelly real soon.

Good win. Shouldn't have been nearly that close, but again lots of sloppy turnovers and mental lapses.

meh, i don't think they were that bad in any game this year. That flop was bad tho.

Recommendation: I only let myself complain about the refs 4x per season. They've gotta be really bad to use 1 of your 4 and when you stop complaining about calls the game is more enjoyable imo.

Yea agreed, I get way too angry about things. I do feel like as a MN fan none of our teams ever seem to run very good on getting calls.

TBF there were several no calls this game where even the announcers were questioning it (which means it's bad, I am pretty sure they are instructed to always be positive and fellate everyone).

So weird to win close games. But awesome!

We were 10-18 in games decided by 6 points or less last season. We're 5-0 in those games this season so far.

Barring major injuries, this team will win 50+ games this year. Been really impressed with Jamal Crawford and Gibson this year.

It would not surprise me, but they are capable of playing very poorly at times. They get ahead and get lazy. If Thibs can manage to keep Towns and Wiggins motivated on both ends of the floor, we have great things ahead of us.

yeah, the game last night was solid. 7-3 is good.

These next 4 games will be a tough stretch - @ GS, PHO, & UT, then SA here. 2-2 might be ok. 3-1 would be great.

I also think that this bench is a Mirage. It's been nice to see the last few games, but I expect them to be outplayed more often than not.
