Tyus may ultimately be useful.

I am so glad we didnt trade Rubio.

That was a big win last night. We need all the games vs the 5 teams ahead of us. I was a little worried when Dallas tied the game, but we pretty much destroyed them after that.

Lets hope for a miracle win tonight at HOU. We did beat them last time we played them, and should have beat them the time before that. I think if we work hard to defend 3s, we match up well against them.

So when do we talk about the fact that we've been unaffected by the LaVine injury?

Now, if you like. I don't really think it's accurate. Team was 8-4 right before Lavine got hurt, 4-5 since. I think the team is just playing better as the season has gone on, which is an encouraging sign.

Tyus is doing a good job playing the "poor man's Lavine" role.

Rush is a much better defender and having one less defensive sieve is helpful.

Yeah, i don't disagree with that. More structured defense and less scrambling defense.

yeah, on one hand, we miss Lavine's offense, but his defense is still so bad I'm not sure if he's a net negative or a net positive. Rush is not very good, but his defense is way better than Lavine's.

I think we need to jump on Terrance Jones before someone else picks him up. He fills a need (true PF) and is a slightly above average player. We can cut Paynewreck or Hill later if we want to bring Stephenson back.

The Wolves defense has been worse since Lavine went out and the offense has been better

Had to work 6am-10pm today and then my DVR failed to record the game. Box score still makes my day. Recording replay.

The Wolves have a positive SRS! 13th in the league!

If Denver loses every game to a team with a better SRS and beats every team with a worse SRS, they’ll finish the season 9-12, good for a 37-45 record. If the Wolves do the same, they’ll finish 11-11, good for a 36-46 record.

If we keep playing defense like we did against Utah last night, we'll do a lot better than 11-11. That's a big IF, but its clear that the team is improving. We started 6-18 and have been 19-18 since.
