This had something to do with it.
I'm hearing the big problem was this: It is getting close to the time that season ticket holders have to decide whether or not they are going to renew for next year. It is obvious to Taylor that there has a lot of fan apathy. He's hearing the boos from the crowd for Thibs every game and hearing negative stuff from the ticket sales people. He was going to lose a lot of season ticket holders if he didnt pull the trigger soon. Its a money issue.

Not Hoiberg.
Apparently we are interested in Monty Williams and Hoiberg. I dont know a lot about Williams, but it sounds like players love him and I thought he did a good job in NO. Right now, I'd pick Williams if it came down to those two.
I dont know what Saunders will coach like, but I hear that if he take us to the playoffs this season, he will probably get the job. If he can do that in this conference this season starting off where we are now, he probably deserves the job.
I just hope that whoever gets the job, its someone who advocates playing like the best modern NBA teams do, ie, shooting mostly 3s and layups, running NBA caliber offensive plays, switching on defense frequently and defending the 3 point line.
Hoiberg might be ok for GM. I do not want Billups. Those are two possibilities that I am hearing. I'm assuming Layden wont last after this season.
