Off the top of my head, the playoff win vs HOU was fun, the last regular season game vs DEN was fun and the blowout win vs CLE was fun. But yeah, most of the time it wasnt fun to watch.

Honestly never would have thought that the team with the 4th best offense could be so awful to watch play offense. All the things that make basketball fun to watch were just missing.

I would like to state, once again, that everything Thibs has done since he's been here has been total garbage. Let's see how he does on the Butler trade.

It's really sad because Butler is fun to watch on offense and actually plays defense. He obviously was sick of the lack off effort on D from guys like Wiggins.

I blame Taylor for giving Wiggins contract and giving Thibs the power to run this ship into the ground, thus giving him the coveted #1 spot.

Cant fault Taylor too much for hiring Thibs. Thibs was universally considered the #1 free agent coaching candidate at the time. Maybe you could argue that giving him GM powers was not smart, but at the time, I think even that move was praised. Hindsight is always 20/20.

And even, to a certain extent, i can't really blame Thibs for trading for Jimmy (tho i certainly thought it was a bad move at the time). See, when Thibs left Jimmy, Jimmy was still the hardworking underdog that made himself into a star and he still had a ton of respect for Thibs. But in the 2 years after Thibs left Jimmy morphed into the prima dona matyr that developed his "I'm the one who knows what it takes and you all are lazy kids" attitude towards his teammates, and clashed hard with his new coach and with management. The outside world largely took his side while he acted like a dick and his reward was getting traded to a much better team, where a coach he liked welcomed him as a hero.

Rubio-Lavine-Wiggins-Markkanen-Towns would have scored 130 points/100. Maybe they'd go 40-42 doing it but it never would have been non-awesome. All Thibs had to do was not **** up horrifically

Basically Thibs knew this Butler/Towns megabeef AT LEAST back in July and decided to deal with it by ignoring it. Towns requested a face to face meeting with Thibs in July and Thibs would not give him one.

Thib is telling teams this, not even asking what their offers are.

Meanwhile, I heard Taylor is fielding offers from other teams. I dont know why Thibs still has a job if this is true.... wait, yes I do, it is because Glen Taylor is the one making these decisions....

Just a bargaining tactic imo. If we say we aren't trading him then we might able to squeeze slightly more from a team. He is gone.
