And even, to a certain extent, i can't really blame Thibs for trading for Jimmy (tho i certainly thought it was a bad move at the time). See, when Thibs left Jimmy, Jimmy was still the hardworking underdog that made himself into a star and he still had a ton of respect for Thibs. But in the 2 years after Thibs left Jimmy morphed into the prima dona matyr that developed his "I'm the one who knows what it takes and you all are lazy kids" attitude towards his teammates, and clashed hard with his new coach and with management. The outside world largely took his side while he acted like a dick and his reward was getting traded to a much better team, where a coach he liked welcomed him as a hero.
