Seems like a good draft for the Brewers. They took a lot of guys with super high upside who dropped in the draft because of minor injuries.

I really wanted them to take Brady Aiken with their first pick.

My thought process is that the MLB draft is so hit or miss that you should be taking high risk high reward options because there is no such thing a safe pick in baseball. Aiken was the #1 pick last year and if you have the opportunity to draft last years #1 pick in the middle of the first round I think you have to take it. I also think if you can develop a good to great pitching staff you will always be in contention to win a championship.

I really like the 2 pitches they took with their 2nd and 3rd pick.

Preliminary talks with Mets about trading Aramis Ramirez. I like the Mets as a trade partner, they have a ton of young pitching prospects. I really hope the Brewers can overhaul their farm systems by dumping basically their entire big league roster.

Bleacher Report came out with their rankings for MLB farm systems after the 2015 draft and the Brewers were ranked 28th. Their second best prospect is their first round pick this year....

Wow. And our farm team used to be so good. But we brought them up or traded them for our pushes for the playoffs. Definitely need to restock.

Yeah they dumped a lot of good prospects to rent Greinke and CC.
