Agreed. But I'm still holding out hope. We aren't out of it no matter how bad things look right now, just one more good run and we are back in first.

The Brewers announced after their game today that infielder Bill Hall has agreed to go to Class AAA Nasvhille to work on his hitting.

Bill Hall was quoted as saying, "My batting practice the last few weeks has been some of the best of my career."

LOL. Hopefully he gets things turned around though, or at least becomes serviceable again.

guys been nothing but cooperative and has never become a nuisance like many would have easily become if they got their position switched yearly, and the number of games they start drastically reduced. i wish him the best.

christ i hate him tho. 8m a year for that bum?!

Don't hate a guy because he isn't producing. He is trying. If we can get 2005 Bill Hall back this team will be awesome. Sadly it's looking like we just have to eat his contract.

Sucks that Suppan's on the DL, not that I miss him after his last two games. Would love one quality start from Villa/Burns/Dillard/this guy we just got from the Dodgers. August is a fairly easy schedule, but getting embarrased by the Nats makes the Astros/Pirates/Reds/Padres look pretty frightening.

By the way...PLEASE TRADE COREY HART IN THE NEXT 3 HOURS!!!

I'm really surprised you guys didn't trade for a Starting Pitcher. Any chance thats Doug Melvin's way of sending a message to Braun?

Why trade Hoffman he's sitting on a 1.8 ERA ?
Nice to see Villy put in a nice PJ and not let us get swept by the PAAAADRES!!!

why trade hoffman? because he's worthless to a team that isnt going to make the playoffs...now he has arm fatigue, lol.

interesting day.
cut bill hall
sent jj down
fired pitching coach

moves that would have been great had they been done 6 weeks ago.

Where did you hear that Hoffman has arm fatigue? He has been getting a LOT of rest lately.

after watching doug davis pitch so far ive decided im becoming a whitesox fan or something if they dont resign prince.

theres absolutely no reason to give a rats ass about this team. their management just craps all over the fans constantly.

How do you figure??? They made effort to improve the lackluster starting rotation, they are really trying to bring back Prince, the tickets are relatively cheap and they have more fan giveaways than any other team...doesn't sound like a team that just "craps all over the fans" to me...

yes, great to know they'll have a solid pitcher to build around for a few years, these are the kinds of deals the crew should be focusing on rather than trying to find a way to pay prince a zillion dollars

I love prince and all but he's worth probably $20 mil a year and I don't think the Brewers can afford to pay ANYONE that kind of money...

I really don't know about Hoffmann. He throws 86 and the key to his success is that he can throw even slower....come on! Let the man complete his 600 saves, carry him to Cooperstown and that's it.

How many saves does he need to get to make you a believer?

God I wish so badly that the Brewers/Pirates games were in any way indicitive of how they'd play the rest of the year. Such a brutal series for Pittsburgh. Macha specifically tries to end the inning by letting Parra bat and he whacks a single anyway...gogo Brew Crew!!

I guess if Ken Macha's gonna manage a team, may as well be this one
