How about RichRod stays and on the biggest stage Michigan Football has ever seen we get raped in Cowboy Stadium 52-24 by Bama and that sinking feeling in our stomachs come back. That feeling of knowing that what we have just doesn't work and instead of being 2 years into something that is gonna last and succeed we realize we are two years too late, Harbaugh is gone, and we have no ****ing clue what to do.
Bolded is LOL but whatever.

The questions are still important. If you want to push Denard and Hart out for the future, you better be damn ****ing sure that's what you want. It takes a lot of hubris to blow up the #4 offense in the nation that is returning every key player.

I also severely doubt that Harbaugh is gone in 2 years.

ike so your basically saying you have no mind of your own on this matter. whatever this one dude writes your gonna believe/follow? what is the point of even following the team then if a random person is gonna give you all your thoughts/feelings on them?

everything dealing with Michigan is fake with you. you don't even have your own feelings/emotions. everything is plagiarized.

true...very true. especially considering the rest of the schedule from there on out in '12.

i *doubt* we're looking at 52-24 in that game, but if it played out like that, jesus i have no idea what i'd feel.

It won't be a greeatard HYACHCHAHAHACHAHAH or laughable thehip 'logic'.
also true though.

greear is a sports fan spaz, for sure. i'd bet he'd even admit that (or at least recognize it in himself and post 'lol wiper'), but as much as 'we' think 'we're' 'right', so does he, and who the **** knows at this point?

our offense = dope. and only gonna get doper. (that's right, doper)

our defense = jesus. and who knows going forward about getting better. hell, the guy we all thought was the next monster DT is now an offensive guard and i assume redshirting his junior year.

LOL Reading is ****ing hard. Guess what? If Brian says that Michigan is going to beat OSU this year, I won't go LOL for sure BRO! There's a reason why I listen to people like Brian and laugh at people like you. I doubt you can figure it out.

Yeah I definitely spaz out...but isn't that a large part of being a fan? I've said I like Schwartz/Babcock. With the Lions we are seeing improvement on both offense and defense. I hate Leyland because he's a ****ing tard. I want him gone. Same with richrod.

god this is so true.

that said, the #4 offense in the nation has us talking about it.

it = blowing everything up.

which is a legit option...not necessarily the one i'd pick at this point, but legit nonetheless.

and everything you say is oversensationalized. either/or.

ike reads mgb, and that **** is soooo well written (not just in the journalism sense, but in the football sense) that it's hard not to just take it lock/stock and 2 smoking GERGS.

if i could, i'd set up a tent on the golf course and make every major poster ITT hang out before a game.

I agree with a lot of what Brian says, and he's a gifted writer. But saying something like "if xxxxx writes something about xxxxx, it'll be hard to refute" is an appeal to authority and just screams of blind loyalty to a guy who, while a tremendous blogger, is infallible and not as well connected as everyone believes.

It's not an appeal to authority, the statement is based on the belief in the bolded.

I could give a **** less how connected he is.

that said ike sir, though i hear what you're saying and know what you're saying and this isn't a competition...greear's getting you right now.

*shivers*

i just said that.

at some point you have to balance what you read on mgb/from brian with WTF YOU ACTUALLY SEE.

i know he breaks every play down and knows more than any of us. probably combined. that said, use that to make your own opinion.

i'm not gonnagreeeeeeeear and say 'lol you don't even have your own opinion' but it's close to that.

crazy thing is that I'M actually saying that. brian/mgb is IT. the beginning of every argument, or at least the intricacies start there.

but that's where they START. he's behind rrod. he's now saying gerg (and others) should go.

but that doesn't mean we all should start nodding our heads in lock/step and repeat it over and over. ****, he's one of the last to come around to that conclusion if you think back...

lol? Would you prefer if I said "appeal to a semi-authority who is a really good blogger"?

Considering how much bureaucracy has gone on and is still going on and is a major part of the Rich Rodriguez regime, you probably should.

LOL no. My belief that Cook would only write a good piece calling for RR to be fired is based entirely on the belief that he is a really good writer, a belief that you share. Great bloggers tend to write good pieces, and I really ****ing doubt that someone like Brian would write a poor piece on something that we all consider so important.

That's all the statement means. Cook could be wrong or right, but you know that it wouldn't be easily dismissed like greear or thehip.

And MGoBlog isn't just op-ed. It's not the daily ramblings of a single random dude. There is a ton of information presented there. MGoBlog competes with Scout and Rivals for being first to break any sort of news out of the Michigan program.

I don't know what GREEAR's problem is with MGoBlog. Maybe it's that there are a lot of smart people there who don't agree with his simple sports world view of WIN=GOOD LOSE=BAD FIRE COACH HERPEPEDPEPEPDPDEEPDEERRRRPPPPPP. GREEAR obviously has no interest in learning anything about Michigan football. He wants instant gratification and if he doesn't get it, he's just going to name call and point fingers at the guy in charge because he isn't armed with enough information to do anything else.

why not? (or would the question be 'how so'?)

i agree totally, but the last statement makes me wonder why you'd say it? i mean, i know he just sends 'tim' to the press conferences, and probably just is close to the campus, but is there anything else that'd make you say that?

And as cool as the UFR stuff is and as much as I admire how much work he puts into it, people's reliance on it is most definitely another appeal to authority. The system is incredibly flawed.

Additionally, this whole situation is so complicated that I find myself struggling to agree with one person no matter how much respect I have in them or how much I normally agree with them. It's just not as clear as either side makes it out to be.

.............

g10...do you read mgoblog regularly? do you have an account there? is it in the negatives?

aside from the obvious inflammatory nature of the above, you know most of that is right, right?

The only reason I'm saying it is because there's a lot of behind the scenes stuff that I think takes place that is extremely relevant to Rich Rodriguez's job (security).
