Maybe I was drunker? Didn't he try like some 35+ yard throws and miss?

100% chance of rain in South Bend tomorrow. They are calling "definite thunderstorms" during the game. Hopefully, there isn't much lightning.

This has to be a huge advantage for Michigan. I seriously think the wildcat should be put in tomorrow.

Just can't wait for Charlie Weis to eat his words... and then Jimmy Clausen.

I wouldn't be worried but ND has an offensive genius as their coach.

Good start to the weekend, 5-star recruit Anthony LaLota picks UM over ND.

So if you lose tomorrow then Notre Dame must be hugely better?

Nah, it just means that Weis ate the Michigan defensive line.

He's only a 5 star on scout and at a position UM isn't even recruiting him at, but either OT or DE is a huge need, so great pick up right now.

Can we have Lloyd Carr guest coach for one game today? Power I fullback shuffle all day.

Unfortunately it looks like the rain might stay north of South Bend, which truly means that God does favor Notre Dame.

Wow, what a start. 2 turnovers, multiple penalties, 14-0 ND. Morgan Trent gets called for PI on 3rd down setting up the first score, then got beat on the fade for the 2nd, but it was a perfectly thrown ball. Maybe we won't fumble the 3rd kickoff today? we'll see.

Well at least we got faked with the right people.

OK, suicide watch is on hold after sick McGuffie TD. We need to get some more pressure to eliminate deep balls and stop fumbling kickoffs/getting PI penalties (1 legit, 1 BS in my book) and we might be able to claw back into this.

Steven Threet was the valedictorian? Respeck.

Yeah but the O looked good. TO's aside, obv. Threet is gonna be passable this year. And he might be good next year. Who knows? Plus: MCGUFFIE!

Downside: D line VASTLY overrated. And also out intangibles suck. Damn intangibles.

For an ugly game, I am actually encouraged. If we correct the fumbling problem, things should keep improving. I thought Threet looked very good today. He spread the ball around nicely. The O-line did a decent job. McGuffie looked great. I still believe Shaw is going to be a significant factor this season.

The defense continues to disappoint, and our return units need a lot of work. Unless I missed them, I don't remember Jamison or Taylor making many plays today. I thought our front 4 would be great. Hasn't happened yet. Even though he had a nice TD run dragging a tackler into the endzone, I don't trust Kevin Grady with the ball.

took a shower, off to gets some eggs and pancakes...

after calming down a bit, we're getting better each game. with 6 turnovers, we lose to every opponent on the schedule.

future looks good, but i don't know when we'll get our second win of THIS season..

There was a lot of improvement this week. I like what I saw today. What a sick, sick way to lose a football game, though. They played much better than the score indicates. Wisconsin and Illinois next. 1-4 would suck.

I cannot wait to get a real running threat at QB like Beaver or Forcier back there with McGuffie and Shaw. It's going to be a very dangerous combo.
