Funny you act as if your loaded with five star talent yet you can’t win a game they means anything. At all.

Check out Jourdan Lewis on Twitter. He disagrees with your scorching hot take on the subject.

LOL Bdidd, the wanting is hilarious. You should take some time during your quarantine to study and step up your game. Go back and read TomCollins, that guy knew how to troll.

Penn State is our true rival now. They're the program most like us, fighting for second fiddle in the division. As long as we beat Penn State most of the time I'm happy. The Ohio State game no longer exists to me. It's an 11 game season for the indefinite future. As far as I'm concerned Michigan would be better off switching divisions allowing Ohio State to rotate off the schedule effectively killing the rivalry a la Nebraska-Oklahoma style. And when we do have Ohio State on the schedule we should be playing them in September or October like when we play Wisconsin. Ohio State is no longer a winnable game for the same reason Michigan vs the Detroit Lions is not a winnable game. So why invest any energy in it, why care at all about it. The goal for every season going forward: "BEAT PENN STATE!! and secondly don't be ******ed and **** up vs Michigan State." Accomplish both those objectives and it's a successful year for Michigan.

It doesn't matter who coaches here. The beatdowns will continue. Michigan has the resources to compete with Ohio State, Bama etc, but they never will becuz of fake morality bs arguments which mask what's really going on: Our rich higher-ups don't care about football as much as the rich higher-ups of Ohio State, Bama, etc. And as long as that's the case it largely doesn't matter who's coaching Michigan. Judging by recruiting--which is 95% of what matters in college football--Harbaugh is now coaching at replacement level. Using baseball terminology, Harbaugh has a WAR of zero. Translation: he is recruiting at a top 15 level, and if Michigan brought in ANY coach in America he at least could do the same exact thing. The Michigan brand alone will get anyone that far.

Harbaugh at this point brings in zero value, in fact negative value when you factor in his horrible in game decisions--especially his crippling weak-tight strategy in big games--and the fact that he will say incredibly stupid/offensive things from time to time. If I were an Ohio State fan I would want him around forever. Every dumb thing he says hurts the Michigan brand, and it's still possible for Michigan to luckbox into a coach with a WAR above zero which could result in an occasional upset vs Ohio State--the overall theme would be the same tho, Ohio State will dominate because they want it more.

But B0 reported it up the chain of command. So it's the fault of whoever was technically his boss.

Even if this argument was valid (it's not), why didn't Bo at least gid rid of this predator when he became athletic director in 88?

We actually play a 9 game schedule. But yes based on the games we know 4-4 is the most reasonable projection. This is a quintessential transition year for Michigan. Lost too many players. Next year will be more fun, as the possibility of winning 10 or 11 games is back on the table.

Not the cleanest game, but it sure was entertaining and there were enough positives on both sides of the ball to be really excited about this team, even if the thinking is still that next year is when this group is supposed to peak.

I'm less impressed with the offense than many of the twitter takes I read after the game, Minnesota lost a ton on defense and it showed. Still, a nice mix of plays, good physical blocking and Milton made smart decisions. Check back after they play Wisconsin.

Just feels so good to be happy after game 1. It's been awhile. This was a huge, moving the needle, swing game too as far as seasonal expectations. Lose to Minnesota and we're staring at the real probability of 5-4. Now we're heading straight towards 7-2 which would be outstanding after losing 11 NFL roster players, Nico and Ambry.

I was surprised how much I got into it. I mean, I watched half of the Georgia-Alabama game and not a whole lot else this season. But it felt suprisingly normal and good to sit on the couch with the game on (and lol Maryland v Northwestern on the other screen).

Still think it's 50/50 at best that we get in at least 5 games, but I'm going to enjoy it (with relatively little guilt) while it lasts.

If Wisconsin's QB indeed has covid and cant play vs Michigan, we are going 8-1 with legit playoff equity even after we lose to Ohio State. 2020. What an amazing year!!
