ILP is football Trump. He can keep talking a lot, but sane people stopped listening a long time ago.

Gonna suck to eat beet ragu for 30 years while I eat Lotus and buy the to-be-invented cancer cure at age 70 or whatever.

Someone needs to prop bet Greear that he can’t eat strict ILP-style for a month.

Anyone who wants to live long enough to see Michigan ever title again may have no choice.

Pep Hamilton’s name sure is popping up for a lot of jobs. I wonder if he might be getting Drevno’d. I don’t really get the hate some people have for him but it’s not like he’s been some critical cog either.

I just don’t really see what Pep is doing that is vital to our program’s success.

I don’t think change is always the answer but I don’t think losing him would be a massive loss.

Yeah, that’s exactly where I am. And for a guy that makes a million plus a year, that’s...kind of a problem.

It’s amazing to watch the SEC games and how the RBs just run so much harder and more aggressive than our RBs ever do. I’m not sure if it’s a talent disparity or an effort thing, but you can see it on the tape.

This Swift guy on Georgia is better than any Michigan RB I've ever seen.

He was the 35 overall player in 2017.

These RB's are just much more talented then guys we have really ever had for 25 years.

Yeah, when the national championship last year has close to 30 stars worth of RBs in Chubb, Michel, Swift, Najee, Damien Harris, and Bo Scarborough I don’t know that it’s a Michigan issue. But I think you’re on to something I can’t put my finger on; there’s something about Swift, Michel, etc that even looks different from Just Kidding Dobbins or Weber.

Might have something to do with them rarely having to dodge defenders in the backfield.

Seriously this. RB is the most overrated/replaceable position in football outside of rare once in a generation exceptions (Barkley, Barry, etc). It is ridiculous to even pine about other so called better RBs. That is the least of our issues. Our offensive line is what's holding this team back from being in the playoffs. Period.

Pep Hamilton is not someone I'd worry about losing. I might even prefer if y'all kept him.

Florida again. Five years ago I’d have killed for a NY6 bowl; now I’m just incredibly bored by it.

We're guaranteed to go 11-2 now. How many times has this program won 11 games in a season? 5 or 6 is my guess. That's something to be excited about.

What is everyone's outlook on Gary's time at michigan?

My one sentence take: he was a consistently excellent, but short of transcendent, player.

This, plus I would add: I would like to see what he would have been if fully healthy.

Consistently great would be my only change.

I hate that I have any skepticism over the injury thing this year but with it being close to him able to go to the nfl. A slim part of me did think maybe he was milking it a bit.

Did anyone ever think he was playing out of position? Heard a lot of “should have been the anchor” chatter on message boards.
