Wiper is right but in case he's wrong the curse doesn't even apply until I make a real bet (at least a thousand). If the line doesn't change I'll probably put $5K on this game, but it will cuz life is never that easy.

Seriously man. This time things are different. Still LMAO at Bigdaddydvo's question mark at QB comment. I mean how does one even respond to that. The only civil response I can think of is:

Spoiler:
Nowadays, everybody wanna talk
Like they got somethin' to say
But nothin' comes out when they move their lips
Just a bunch of gibberish
And mother****ers act like they forgot about Shea

I may have to get past my disdain for Jon Gruden and actually pull for the Raiders after they took Mo Hurst in the 5th.

Nah this guy is legit.

So here’s a thing I’ve been wondering. We’ve heard from Sam et al how a new feature since 2017 is an “NFL-style” scouting department within the player personnel/recruiting function. To the extent that Michigan isn’t focusing exclusively on the highest ranked guys, is it that the scouting guys have identified some of the lower ranked guys as better in terms of fit or ability than guys higher in the STARZZZZ rankings?

It just seems like there’s a lot more rhyme or reason to taking the guys they are at this point in the cycle than “the top 100 guys don’t want to come here so we will take anyone”

I've got absolutely nothing to base this on, but I suspect that some of these commits are being made with the understanding that they could get bumped.

Sure, the staff is getting some underscouted/underranked guys, especially from the Northeast. It's the nature of the business, if players don't camp or play in areas where football is a big deal, they aren't going to be top 100.

There's probably a little bit of fit analysis, especially at certain positions. Dunno.

Crootin.

Also, saw on Twitter some DB prospect ran a laser timed 4.30 at a Nike Opening regional. I think we made his top 6. Do want.

Edit: Browsing Opening results, it's too bad we were never really in it for Owen Pappoe, that kid is some kind of athletic freak.

I thought that last year but the 3* stuck with the team, hopefully that might have been because the higher ranked kids weren't interested.

I don't really get who or what they're trolling, but I don't really read the comments sections or boards on there.

I am not amused at all. When are they gonna change it back. I have this intuitive feeling that I would hate Brian irl.

I had to look up who that dude was. It was not surprising that he was a tOSU slappy now wearing Purdue colors. No disrespect, Redd, but shots from West Lafayette have never meant much and they mean even less now that you're in the Corn-and-Siberia division of the B1G.

In other news, a couple of 3 star non-Riverman-approved commits to future classes this week. At least both guys are seriously fast and obvious fits.
