BTW guys, our path to the Rose Bowl is clear. Iowa must win out, and we must win out. Go Hawkeyes! (With Iowa going to the National Championship game obviously.)

National Championship game is the Rose Bowl this year iirc.

No, now they have [the BCS bowl game the title game is in] AND the Title game, later. So they still have a Rose Bowl. We're not playing there, let's be real, but still a good shot at making a NYD bowl. Not great, but reasonable.

nice game by Michigan

it's actually these games that impress me the most--the Wolverines have killed the underling teams (other than IU whose offense had Michigan completely lost)
that is a sign of a consistently good program... beating the bad teams badly

Hmmm, that's the first I've heard about this actually. So now there's 5 BCS games with the rotating bowl essentially hosting 2 games. Ten teams instead of 8 means more $$$ so it's obviously a good idea .....

yep... it's been that way for a few years

Michigan can get themselves into that talk if they beat PSU and tOSU... whoever they lose to will have the inside track for the other BCS big ten spot w/ Iowa

Many interesting stats from the game today, but one that stands out for me: Michigan had 11 different receivers catch a pass (UM record?) but nobody caught more than 2.

b10 championship talk could not be any more ridiculous

..unless you mentioned it last year

Yes, scheduling teams that don't belong in the same league makes for a great program.

Who's talking about winning the Big Ten championship? Michigan eliminated themselves from that race when they lost to Iowa. If we're going to have any delusions of grandeur, which I'm all for, the talk should be focused on winning our remaining games. Can we do it? Sure. We are definitely good enough to beat anybody on our schedule. Will we do it? Well if we win the next three games, I'll believe.

I really like how Michigan matches up with PSU this week. Execute and Michigan wins, imo.

We've had two weeks to prepare for Penn State. Forcier, Minor and Brown will be fresh and as healthy as they're going to be the rest of the year. The crowd will have the same disrupting presence as they did in the ND game. If we get Molk back, there's no way Penn State is winning this game.
