This is just a catalyst.
This is almost surely true, but also not much of a point. I agree if Hoke was 9-4 in his last 13 instead of 4-9, no one is calling for his head today. Why are we denying ourselves 13 data points going back to last year that he's not a good football coach and has lost control of the team? A huge part of the storyline getting to his **** up losing control with Morris's potential concussion is that he benched his 5 star, 5th year senior QB and has an incredibly porous offensive line that makes QB murder possible. Why we would ignore the total picture? I agree if we put ourselves behind some kind of Veil of Ignorance, Hoke could survive this kind of mistake. But we don't have to do that and this is the culmination of like, years of ****ing mistakes and mismanagement. 10 guys on punt returns, flip-flopping QBs, can't block a soul and defenses teeing off the QB, can't manage the clock -- when the final chapter is your QB's brains lying fried on the 40 yard line after the 5th headshot and like 3rd roughing the passer penalty your VERY TOUGH AND PHYSICAL team did nothing respond to, and you're sending him back in for more plays, you don't ignore the first 24 chapters in the 25 chapter epic, Brady Hoke is an Incompetent Bozo Clown.
