i deleted my last post...kinda too personal i guess. rum and coke early then vodka late...kinda, well who cares michigan sucks.

Today is not that interesting imo. NEXT Sunday will be interesting -- when the distance between the two programs -- one in year 2 of a staff, recovering from NCAA sanctions, travels to another program in year 3 of a staff, and probably curbstomps the **** outta the Year 3 crew.

That's when Brandon is going to feel the heat. Instead of 1 week, that **** is going to simmer for a month or so until the bowl game. This week is nothing. Next week, Dave Brandon is Don Canham in 1968 after Bump Elliott gets beat 50-14 by OSU. At least that game is in Columbus. This was going to be in front of all the bluebloods who want football played 2 yards at a time.

I thought Borges was a huge favorite to survive but if we lose by 25+ next Saturday and can't muster 200 yards in 4 out of the last 5 weeks, I dunno.

so he redshirts his freshman year b/c of all the ones coming in this year and next year will be upperclassmen. then in 2017 he's a redshirt freshman, so he's depth.

then maaaybe in 2018 (!!!) he's competing for a spot, but if even some of the linemen in the next few years pan out he's probably looking at being a starter in 2019.

I'm still going, but it's a weird feeling.

I'm not really even excited for football. I'm excited to be back in Ann Arbor with my friends, drinking beers on the golf course, and to be a spectator in another chapter of the greatest tradition in college football. I'm treating what happens on the field as totally secondary as I have no expectations of us putting up a fight.
