Up 30-14
In the 2nd half of a rivalry game and give it away

Harbaugh has to go. Never going to win anything with him.

Oh how nice - the little puppydog even follows me here to other teams threads. I thought you would just stay in your pedo zone and wait for your shower time.

But yes you are right. I was wrong - and that is exactly why I don't bet on things I have no control over. I thought Jimmy had it totally in control. His whole run there is just crazy to me. We can only hope this years success warrants an extension for him.

Yeah I get it. They're better than us. But this is the smallest the gap has been since 2016 when we we're the better team. Sometimes the only recipe for an upset is, "Hey guys what if they have 6 turnovers??" That's not the case here. Stroud has NEVER seen a defense like Michigan's in his life. Yes Penn State's defense was good, maybe even equal in overall talent as ours but it's the distribution that matters. We have the edge rushers to speed everything up and get hits on the QB. Those NFL WRs aint gonna have time to get open. And let's not forget that Turner and Hill are both studs in their own right.

Our OL is one of the best in the country. We have the best RB tandem since Biakabutuka--Wheatley. And we have a QB that will efficiently move the offense and not make mistakes. We also have the best special teams unit in the nation.

And we're at home.

There's plenty of reasons to believe this is gonna happen gentlemen. Is Ohio State about to go over 1,000 days without beating Michigan? I think so. Michigan 31 OSU 27

While I admire your optimism, I've seen this rodeo too many times in recent years. You cannot have any weaknesses on defense and our DTs are merely OK. LBs are substandard. Secondary thin and not that fast.

On the other side of the ball Ohio State's OTs are the best we will have faced which has the potential to nerf Hutchinson/Objabo (at least somewhat). Stroud is accurate, the receivers are LDO the best in the country and oh by the way the RB is really ****ing good.

Ohio State 52, Michigan 28. And I'll probably get to spend another offseason wanting to punch the 'fire Harbaugh' crowd in the face through the internet.

I want to root for you guys. I really do. But then I think of Riverman and Greear.

What really matters is rooting for a 12 team playoff so teams like Michigan and Penn State can be truly relevant again. I root for Penn State vs the evil empire but even if Penn State wins it doesn't change the fact that college football is broken. Right now Michigan is ranked around 5th in the country according to fancy stats. I think that ranking is accurate and yet if Ohio State beats us by 35 no one will be surprised. All that power concentrating to the few Goliaths cuz the kids know that only 3-4 teams have a real playoff shot. It's ridiculous man.

Congrats fellas.

Even a blind Harbaugh will get a Michigan Football: HARBAUGH eventually.

But seriously, the running game reminded me of Harbaugh’s old dominant Stanford teams. OL has been trash the last few years (you guys had trouble running against Army 2 years ago) but came together & opened big holes. Dominant in the trenches.

Absolutely physically beat them down. Nobody was even trying to tackle Haskins on the last 2 TD runs.

Most satisfying win I've ever had as a Michigan fan. This really felt like the game that lifted the shroud and made Michigan football fun once more. No longer do we have an unwinnable game staring us in the face at the end of every season.

Been watching Michigan games with my dad since the late 80s. My dad is 67 years old. I know someday relatively soon he will no longer be alive. It is days like this I will go back to over and over again for the rest of my life. Every moment went into the memory bank today. It's been 18 years man. 18 ****ing years. 2011 doesn't count. A completely hollow victory. It was good for a streak breaker but that was it. This win was special. Like you said, we didn't just beat them. We dominated them. Ryan Day has built a very good finesse football team, the kind've team that can beat Clemson every now and then and that's pretty cool. But if they don't learn how to play real football again they may never beat Michigan again.

Hardly even matters tbqh. Even if they lose to Iowa or get crushed in the playoffs it has still has been a season far beyond all reasonable expectations and the biggest most impossible obstacle has been conquered.

There wasn’t peace in the galaxy forever when they blew up the Death Star but goddamn was it a big deal.

I thought you had decent Rose Bowl equity this season as the #2 team. But now it's basically impossible. You would have to beat Iowa 3-0. While Bama beats UGA in OT while Cincy and Oklahoma#2 win by 100.

And even then the PC would send Cincy to the Fiesta.

They are in the playoffs 100%

This is loser talk. We have to recalibrate bro. We have the easiest road to the National Championship in the playoff Era. To win it all we have to beat a QB-less Iowa team with a terrible OL, a G5 team, and then probably one of the worst, most beatable #1 team in recent memory. We don't have to get through juggernauts like 2019 LSU, 2019 OSU, 2020 Bama or those great Clemson teams. Our D is perfectly designed to blow up Georgia's offense. This is the year. We may see better Michigan teams down the road but we'll never have more Championship equity than this at this point in the year.

Greear is probably gonna be right. After we title this year we have an insanely easy schedule next year with a fully loaded offense. Instead of 90% McNamara 10% McCarthy it will be 60% McNamara 40% McCarthy. With McCarthy fully broken in we will play him in all the right spots. We will be unstoppable.

I'm sure I'm not alone in this but it brought great joy to see McCarthy outrun Corum on that first TD. 5 STAR TOOLS.
