God that would be amazing.

Steuber seemed to be an effective run blocker when he was in.

Really good footwork by Mason on his TD run.

James Hudson is apparently leaving the program. Warinner was a great hire; if Harbaugh can hire a witch doctor next to reverse whatever curse the offensive tackle gods put on him then we’ll really be cooking.

I just don't understand that move at all. You're in line to start behind a 5th year senior, if you're as good as you think you are you'll start for 3 years unless you leave early. The OL coaching situation appears to be pretty darned good for a change. The team is having some success. Sure it's a lot of hard work but it could be one heck of a ride.

But I'm not a 20 year old D-1 athlete so what do I know.

I’ve heard anecdotally that Warinner’s coaching style is, uh, not for everyone. Could be he just didn’t get along with his coach. Could also be that he got passed by Stueber, sees Mayfield and Hayes in practice every day, and thought “man **** this.”

14 former 3-star recruits making major impact for Michigan football this season
---
The media outlets which reported the MSU-UM altercation as "both sides did wrong" were cowardly.
Big 10 rules say the away team shall have access to the field starting 2 hours before kickoff.

UM-MSU was a noon kickoff. Michigan goes out at 10am to warmup. At 10:02 MSU players lock arms, wearing helmets, and walk through the Michigan players warming up.

"but that's MSU's tradition!" **** off that you have a right to the "tradition" of breaking rules to interrupt the other team's warmup

All bye weeks suck, but this one might be the least painful bye of all time. We needed this bye week badly. After two physically and emotionally draining games, we desperately needed a break. Look what happened to Penn State last year when they had to play Michigan, Ohio State, and MSU all in a row with no break. They were so ripe to get upset by MSU. They had to have been totally drained as a team. Horrible cluster scheduling literally cost them a playoff berth. This bye week saves us from that sick setup.

Plus we get more time to heal the best WR in the B1G and more time for Gary's shoulder to maybe get well enough for him to take the field. Could you imagine our two best players outside of the invaluable QB position possibly taking the field vs Penn State. This bye week gives us an outside chance of that.

Also, aint it nice getting to sit back stress-free and watch other teams avoid upsets this weekend, knowing that Michigan pretty much controls their own destiny for everything.

BTW, if it wasn't for that rigged game/sick punt fumble/block in 2015, this would be the 3rd year out of 4 that Harbaugh's team made it to November while controlling their own destiny for every possible accomplishment. And the one year they didn't, they were the youngest team in all of P5, with a huge injury at QB, and they still won 8 games. Michigan has been BACK every single year Harbaugh has been here, and yet so many people don't even realize it.

Anyways, this bye week gives us even more time to soak it all in. What a time to be a Michigan Wolverine.

So same model that had us beating Wisconsin 40-13 has us losing to Penn State 25-24 (15:30).

Can't argue with technology. We're ****ed gentlemen. Seriously tho, this will be our toughest game of the year until we play Alabama and there's no way we're covering a double digit spread vs them. I do think the model--any model at this point--is vastly underestimating Michigan's offensive potential given that I think this team, and shea are getting better every week. Outside of Bama, we have the most diversified offense in the country. We can truly run any formation video game style from power concepts to spread concepts. We have the personnel and the coaching to do that effectively. Plus the Calvin Johnson of college football is returning for us probably this week. This offense is a bundle of potential energy ready to explode. No model looking at past numbers will capture this.

There's no ****ing way I would go. I'm not missing the biggest game since Ohio State 2016 for people that will probably be divorced within 3 years anyways. Plus people who plan weekend fall weddings are almost certainly way closer to the psychopathic end of the spectrum since it's crystal clear they don't consider the needs of others. I would have zero guilt not showing up.
