it feels weird that i am allowing my hope to depend so heavily on the hype around a redshirt freshman who didn’t play offensive line until he got to Michigan, but here we are

James Hudson one time baby, and we’re cooking

Formula checks out. Gonna be fun blowing out a top 15 ND team (that really isn't that good) to get things going. @Ohio State is really our only tough game now, and I haven't been this confident going at Ohio State since the legend himself, Steve Bellisari, laced em up.

Offensive line? Where we're going we don't need an offensive line. Shea will find a way.

This will be the most anticipated Michigan football season of my lifetime. A bone crushing defense with a shea butter smooth offense. It doesn't get better than this fellas. Our time has arrived.

Just be sure to let us know when you’ve placed your bet on Michigan to win it all so we can go drink bleach

BTW Amani Toomer is a ****ing idiot. Look at where this program is heading right now and imagine where we'd be without Harbaugh (Tenn/Neb/mad max apocalyptic nightmare/ is my best guess). It's baffling that people need to be reminded that Shane Morris was our projected starter in 2015 and a 5-7 type year was imminent and then we got Harbaugh.

Assuming we blow out South Carolina cuz lol sec, we will have won almost 10 games per year while simultaneously cleaning up Hoke's mess every step of the way. Including this recruiting cycle we have now had 3 amazing classes (this class would be close to #1 if you included Shea), and we have all heard about how awesome the 2019 class will be, and btw don't expect ANY of those big time recruits to change their mind after Michigan invariably cruises to the playoffs. No Deshawn Hands this time gentlemen.

We are now officially primed to have an historic season. We are now officially at Ohio State's level. This is now officially Harbaugh's team. Imagine where we would be without him. It isn't hard to do, in fact it's easy if you try. Now you may say I'm a dreamer but I'm not the only one. You better ****ing join me cuz we're about to be #1!!!

Eight numbers to know: Shea Patterson commits to Michigan
In 10 career games, Patterson has thrown for 300 yards or more seven times. By comparison, Michigan did not have a 300-yard passer this season and has just seven 300-yard passers in the Wolverines last 83 games dating back to 2011 (Wilton Speight and Jake Rudock each had two, Devin Gardner had three).

Sam Webb interviewed Brandon Peters' father.

http://www.wtka.com/2012/09/06/podcasts/

I'm just pasting a summary from MGoBlog because I'm not going to listen to it.

The Patterson family were the ones to reach out to Michigan (we already knew that)

Harbaugh sat down with each of the QBs and commits to explain the situation

Michigan initially passed on Shea as they did not have a roster spot open at QB

After Wilton informed the staff about his grad transfer, Harbaugh reconsidered Patterson's interest to transfer

David Peters said that Michigan NEEDED ANOTHER QB for depth so of course they should go after the best available

David Peters said that his son was raised to compete and not run from a challenge

Brandon said that he doesn't care if they bring in 30 more QBs, nobody is taking the job from him

I like what I hear from Peters but if he losses his job lets see if he stays.

Pros
Michigan degree for non NFL QB talents.
If Shae stays 2 years BP still can be a RS Sr QBing a Title contending team, or 2 years if Shae is 1 and done.

Cons
Wants to start somewhere for 2 years.

Pretty much the same for DM

Actually, there is a good chance nobody transfers.

Yeah from my understanding the xfer rules disincentives any xfer in this situation

Lorenz confirmed that JH is looking to get “recruiting” based guys in the spots on the staff.

Good to see, a lot of chatter about Bush Sr taking over, seems like most reporters think he can recruit well.
