We haven't played bad???? We haven't defended 1 time down court....And we can't hit a jumpshot to save our lives. We are ****ing terrible. You can't run this kind of offense when every jump shooter you have is ****ing terrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrible.

Kansas is about 100 times more athletic than Michigan, that's the difference. It's not execution, it's just a huge difference in athleticism. They don't have an answer for a team like this until they get better athletes.

oh, silly me. i thought maybe the difference was the fact that we still don't make any shots. we jus need better athletes to compete with the alabama's/utah's of the world. just so out athleticed.

What do you know....more Manny Harris epic fail at the end of the half/game in terms of clock managment. HOW MANY ****ING TIMES MUST THIS HAPPEN????? DONT ****ING TRUST THE ****** WITH AN IQ OF 17 WITH DECISIONS WITH LIMITED CLOCK WHERE THINKING CRITICALLY IS INVOLVED.

wow, this is so bad. Michigan has played really bad in a lot of games this year. Utah and Alabama obviously were bad losses. That doesn't mean the problems in today's game are automatically the same.

They haven't been able to even get open until the last few minutes, Kansas is just all over everyone. That hasn't really been the problem in previous games, they've had plenty of open looks and room to operate the offense. There's been none in this game. Kansas has pretty awesome athletes. I think Michigan could play their best game today and still lose comfortably.

That run at the end came when they were operating in space more. Amazing how much that helps.

Has there been an official decision on Jordan Morgan yet? I read that he was cleared medically, but I assume he is going to redshirt if he hasn't played yet. Does anybody know? We desperately need another big body, so if he can contribute anything from here on out, I think it is worth giving up a possible redshirt.

why burn the redshirt when this year is ****ed anyway? we prolly have less than 15% equity in terms of getting into the NCAA tourny.

If nothing else, we are going to need him next year, and the minutes he'd get this year would help in his development.

No I don't. Please explain. Are you contending that getting decent minutes this year won't make him a better player for next year when we are going to really need him?

I'm contending that his career worth at Michigan will reach its max value if he redshirts this season. If we play him now after sitting 1/3 of the season its incredibly ****ing dumb. Yeah...he'd prolly be better next year if he plays, but making him the best he can be for the 10-11 season isn't anywhere near the ultimate goal.

Does Dave O'brien do any research before a game? He keeps talking about Novak being a really good shooter. Does he even look at the stats before a game? He's a career 37% 33% shooter.

Manny needs to take to the basket more. Only 2 free throw attempts in this game.

I'd be happier if he could just distinguish him from Gibson.

They are going a little overboard on the green stuff. Do we really need to hear about it every 3 minutes? I know this isn't a candidate for game of the year, but concentrate a little on the game ESPN.

Now it's Bilas. Stu Douglass is "an unbelieveably good shooter." I don't want to rag on Douglass too much, but saying that is a bit of an overstatement considering the numbers.

On the bright side, the 1-3-1 has been very effective at slowing down Kansas. Not sure why we didn't start the game with it. They carved up the man to man.

To easily cover the spread and only lose by 11 is somewhat encouraging. But also very frustrating when we shot the usual 5-28 on 3 pointers. If we could ever shoot just a reasonable percentage. We had so many wide open looks in the 2nd half.

Nice to see Darius Morris playing with confidence late in the game. Despite not getting a lot of first half minutes, he had one of his best games.

Yeah... this offense works. We just need to knock down shots. That's been the issue all year. We saw today what Michigan can do if they play a solid game. If they bring the patience they showed and don't play dumb, this team can win road games at lesser schools in the B10. The home games will take care of themselves. 11-7 in conference is still a possibility. Do that, beat UConn, and we're on the bubble if not on the good side of the bubble.

The 1-3-1 had been leaking like a sieve all year long. From the quotes I've read, they had been working on man all week long. Bill Self teams usually aren't at their best against aggressive man defenses, but against teams that don't put too much pressure on the ball or 2-3 zones, they're really good.
