Gentlemen,

I write this to you in contentious times. Tonight, the battle of my lifetime, of OUR lifetime...the battle that may define our country, our civilization, perhaps even define the future of humanity, will rage.

I worry. I worry that perhaps this may be the last time I can express how much I love my home, and my family, and of course, my wolverines...but I am not afraid.

Though we are outnumbered, we are strong. Our opponents have slain enemies much stronger and well-equipped for battle than we. They have prevailed in battle across the continent, making kings kneel and peasants pray...yet we, they still must conquer.

There is not a man among us that wants war. But war is what they want, so war is what they shall have.

When this message reaches you, know that I love my mother and my friends...and if I should perish, let them know that I died with love in my heart, FURY in my SWORD and MAIZE AND BLUE IN MY VEINS.

Yours in Eternity (and lower-case letters),

wiper

A disappointing loss but still a fantastic year that exceeded expectations by miles. Need some shooting work in the offseason.

I mean it's hard to be disappointed in the development of this team and this season.

But why does Michigan never ever ever ever play big in a big game? It's an epidemic.

Maybe I'm just beaten down by life but I'm tickled pink that for 25% of that gm I was convinced we were gonna win.

eh...

this game reminded me of Saturday’s only backwards...we were down 10 with like 12 mins left and I was just kinda rolling my eyes knowing we were still gonna end up blowing them out. last night, even when mo started off hot, I was just kinda waiting for them to start playing better knowing it was coming...nova was just clearly better even when we were winning.

Ibi Watson transferring has to be about the least surprising thing ever. I do wonder what he could have done with more playing time, but so it goes.

If Moe goes, I guess that would mean Beilein should go hard after that grad transfer from South Dakota. Definitely wouldn't hurt to have another guard.

... and then there was an open scholly for a grad transfer.

Good luck in the draft Moe.

I swear man. Over the last 10 years no program has lost more good players to the 2nd round than us. So sick.

GRIII and Darius Morris? Those are the only two (before Wagner ldo). Six first rounders.

This season is going to show us just how good the assistants are. Improving Teske's offensive game and making Austin Davis a functional backup are huge to making '18-19 live up to expectations.

Manny Harris too. Still thought it was more. Forgot McGary was late 1st.

Last time I felt this good about both programs' chances was the summer of 92.

Simpson
Poole
Mathews
Livers

All switching every screen 1-4 on defense limiting 3 point attempts with Teske on the back end rebounding. Michigans going to have a top 5 defense again.

Need Poole to make the leap, especially on defense. No reason to think he won’t but that’s huge.

I’d be shocked if he left for an NBA job, but stuff does happen.

If Beilein does indeed leave Michigan, I hope for Michigan fans that UM is smart enough to hire Luke Yaklich
