It's not like he told his girlfriend he was going to study, and went to play poker, and im wishing he loses 5 buy ins. I wouldn't care in this example.

He met with our coaching staff. Saw what we had to offer. Shook their hands, said im going to be a Michigan Wolverine. Then, butnahhhhhh.

IIRC there were multiple mentions on the mgoblog board of sources (credibility may vary) saying that neither parent was on board with the commit, both wanted other schools. I think the commit was also a surprise to the staff.

So this is pretty predictable. Gonna feel a little sorry for the kid if he ends up at Syracuse though ... unless someone drops a big sack of cash in his lap.

Only caught the last couple of minutes, offense was not sharp and they gave up a couple of 3 balls on D.

Okay, not going to read too much into an exhibition game, but it very much appears that Chatman still sucks, Duncan Robinson really can shoot, LeVert is a beast, Donnal is a little better.

The defense was terrible, but some of that is to be expected given the constant substitutions. No lockdown defenders though.

Walton is rock solid, Spike was pretty quiet, no Irvin. D.J. Wilson was super active but still looks very raw. Wagner looked like a freshman but does have a pretty sweet shot.

Michigan 36, Northern Michigan 26 at the half.

Hot takes: The offense hasn't been great, ball movement a little sluggish, cold from outside. D.J. Wilson has good energy. Chatman more assertive. The defense is pretty awful.
