We have an elite basketball program. We have a football program that is going to be a huge battle to stay top 30ish in the upcoming years.

i sure hope the first half was run-good and the second half is more the team they'll be.

because they looked like a semi-pro team an hour ago..now kentucky's length is getting to them, they got nothing for randle down low.

hope mitch mcgary spent some time in the weight room next to stauskas.

maaaan stauskas is legitimately 1st-team all big ten this year. between his shooting, his LOOK AT ME I'M A BEAST IN THE WEIGHTROOM offseason pics, and tonight...jesus, gr3 and mitch obv are good, stauskas may end up being this team's star.

yeah i dunno how i feel about this loss.

on one hand, it obviously doesn't mean **** in the long-term, this team is going to be very, very different by conference season let alone march. but losing sucks.

hopefully it's a learning experience.

(and **** GR3 for not hitting ANY of those short ****ing jumpers...i had over 13.5 points, he finished with 12 on 4/14 shooting. ugh)

jim...yall got a good atmosphere there, hopefully you have a good season (mostly so this loss doesn't look awful in march hahaha). being favored by 1 when unranked against a top 10 team says you should be good going forward...

losing sucks but this game means pretty much nothing

McGary's first game back, roles are still very much being defined

Stauskas looks awesome, though. He looks way more comfortable creating for himself and others off the dribble. He's pretty unstoppable if he can do that well.

I'm not too worried about this game.

This team has to rely on a lot of guys working together and individually stepping up, which takes longer to gel than having Trey and Timmy be the workhorse guys and everybody else just filling roles.

I think we're fine as long as McGary is healthy, just need to work on some kinks and I have faith Beilein will get them in position to at least compete for a Big Ten title.
