I think we have the ball handlers to handle VCU's press. SDSU shouldn't pose much of an issue. Wolters is their best scorer but Burke/Hardaway can keep him in check.

I think this draw has E8/F4 written all over it.

I see a team that lost to Wisconsin (who beat Indiana the next day), beat MSU and should have beaten Indiana. They had a bad loss at Penn State and got blown out once at Sparty, but otherwise played very competitively against good teams. And they struggled the most when they ran into teams with size. They don't have that problem in their region, really. Withey could be a problem if we get to the S16 and play them, but he's more of a defensive threat than anything.

Michigan is still a damn good team that is incredibly young and it showed at times on the road. They'll be playing home games next weekend.

What team were you watching?

I'm never excited to play a Shaka Smart coached VCU team in the NCAA tourney. That will be a tough game. I like our chances though to get to the sweet 16 and a matchup with Kansas. We won't be playing home games (essentially) from that point on and this team has been pretty inconsistent away from Crisler. Hopefully we can put it together every game and bring what we are capable of to the table.

I wish you guys luck. I'm not hating. I would like to see a NC come out of the big. I'm just not sure, as a rather disinterested observer, given what I have seen that I have the same amount of confidence in a deep UM run as ya'll have.

I bought tix for Saturday. I'm assuming there's no way to split up the session, as could obv easily sell other half to sparty fan. Anyone know otherwise, way to split them beforehand or between games?
