zero? You really think Matt Moore is not trying to succeed? he's probably playing for his nfl career. Hartline may be too. Few guys on d playing in contract years or for new contracts.

Coordinators purposely calling bad plays at the end of the game ?

I agree I don't think it's happening , just asking

Nolan and Daboll will undoubtedly be out of jobs after the season is over too since new coach will want his own new coordinators. Can't imagine tight ass Ross is giving them enough money that they could pack it in.

Next two weeks are huge. chiefs could let down after tonights game and skins don't look like they can beat anybody.

is matt moore really that bad? tinyyyy sample size of chiefs game which i assume was a huge anomaly in terms of performance but i remember seeing him take some snaps when henne got injured whatever game that was and thought he looked pretty decent....he has good arm strength no? i'm not qualified to judge any nfl player whatsoever fwiw. I just dont think he is as bad as some of the other backup qbs in the league personally. I could be very wrong, u guys would know more than me

I would say he's a top backup QB

Yay Matt Moore decided he was Peyton Manning and Reggie Bush decided he was Barry Sanders after we dropped to 0-7. Whatever bring on Barkley

Look, we were never going to get Luck. We aren't the worst team in the league. That's all there is to it. The players weren't going to quit. They just weren't. He's just one player. I don't get the damn love over it. Godgers was picked in the 20's. Marino in the 20's. Brady in the 6th round. Get a new QB, sure, but get over Andrew Luck.

He's the highest touted QB possibly of all time, maybe Elway, but I wasn't alive then.

So assuming a team not trying to draft a qb gets #1 pick

How many picks can they trade it for

Do you notice a trend in today's media? Every week is a new "game of the century," every scandal is "scandal of the century," every year a new player is "Position X of the century"

Ya awval while I agree he's still the best in recent memory
Besides don't most actually educated analysts/scouts agree he is likely to have a career as a pro bowl QB with potentially goat upside

If you can recall the hype over luck vs the hype over Bradford or Russell or Carr, Smith, etc the hype over Luck is so far above what the others had.

Regardless, we're not going to be drafting #1, so we're not going to get Luck unless Indy wants to trade. Watch us finish like 7-9 like we normally do anyway.

normally, drafting about #10-15 is the best in terms of player quality and salary cap implications, but with player salaries being cut in half for the draft will the top picks now be more valuable in that regard?

Agreed (no idea on Elway either). Some numbers:

Peyton Manning last college season: 60.37% completions
Carson Palmer: 63%
Eli Manning: 62.4%
Jamarcus Russell: 67.8%
Matthew Stafford: 61.4%
Sam Bradford: 67.9%

Andrew Luck: 70.6%
Matt Barkley 66.8%
Landry Jones: 64.6%
Kellen Moore: 74.1%

I mean u answered your own question

Luck seems to be a unique prospect at the most important position regardless of salary

Fire sparano, let offensive line coach or whoever be interim coach.... Promise him to be paid well if he successfully tanks
