Looks like Vince Young might miss the game, or at least be hindered by a muscle sprain. I hate seeing injuries (exception being Brady going down last year... let me just enjoy that for another moment..... man that was great!), but I'll admit I wasn't exactly unhappy to hear about this one. Chris Johnson will definitely be an issue though, guy won't be MVP but he could've been in a different year!

CJ could break a run or two since he does that vs everyone, but I don't see him getting consistent yardage on the ground. I do however see him torching us in the passing game

If your question is whether to sit or start him..always start. I would say around 100 and a TD.

I agree. I think he is too good to contain him all game. I think this game is going to be really close and keeping him from busting a huge screen play for a TD might just be the difference.

The Dolphins have to study both Colts vs Titans games, and the Jets vs Titans game in order to see how to shut down CJ. Those 3 games were by far his worst, with the Jets being a 22 carry/97 yards/0 touchdown running day, with only 1 reception for 8 yards.

It's almost like you have to employ a combo of two lbers/safty to cover CJ at all times. If Smith/David can shut down Kenny Britt, it takes a lot of pressure off safeties to have to watch deep, and their role can be helping the run game to take away CJ.

I might be wrong in this, but the Dolphins should match up Smith on Britt all game. Neutralize his size as much as possible, and with Smith you get that.

2/3 of those games were pre-VY. Apples and oranges imo.

One thing I like about the Parcells/Sparano Fins is we seem to be good at closing. 17-3 in games decided by 7 points or less in the last two seasons. Could just be running hot but I definitely think we have an edge on most teams as far as play-calling/clock management goes, which is probably critical for high leverage spots. It definitely helps given the ball control style we play involves us in a lot of close games. This weekend looks to be another close game.

Vince Young is looking better. Crud. I think a really important player in this game will be Channing Crowder. He's going to have to trust his instincts and make strong plays, because there will be a lot of running power coming out of that backfield.

I'll tell you what, I sure as hell miss Zach Thomas.

I guess the Bills game is a good example. We were up 14-7 at the end of the 3rd then collapsed. As for the other games, we won them so I'd say we closed them out OK.
